My family and I are hoping for many healthy food options during on next trip, but it's been so long since our last visit that i am not sure where the "Better Tasting" eateries are?:confused3

I know it will be hard to find healthy options at the parks, but surely someone else has found the best spots?

We just can't handle eating rich/fried/greasy/heavy food anymore :crazy2: , and I think it would be worse to try it during June!!!

Any tips would be appreciated

For a CS we like to go to CHH. My dh gets this
Lighthouse Sandwich - Hummus with tomato-broccoli slaw. Served with chips or carrots. He said it's real good. I get the Tuna and it is very good.
Also you find fine good healthy food at Sunshine Seasons CS

Hi,

Take a look at the menus here

http://allears.net/menu/menus.htm

I don't know when your last visit was but over the years Disney has added many healthy options. There are carts that sell fresh fruit at all the parks, the "fast food" restaurants offer some healthier options (such as carrots instead of fries), and at most of the sit-down restaurants there are several healthy options.

Enjoy your trip!

I's been 5 years!!! (that's a sin in my book). SOOO glad to hear there is fresh fruit available at the carts, not just popcorn, pretzels and french fries.

Thanks for the link to the menu's.

That Lighthouse sandwhich sounds great, thanks for the tip.

Disney is pretty good about having healthy options and you can usually make simple changes to meals to make them healthier (less sauce or dressings for example). I have found the two restaurants with the largest quantity of healthy choices are Boma and Tusker House.

Other places I would look at are Sunshine Seasons, Restaurant Marrakesh, Crystal Palace, and The Wave.

As a PP stated, checking the menus on allears or wdwinfo is a good way to get an idea of the choices.

Thanks Firedancer!!!

I saw a post about The Wave, it looks amazing May have to try that one.

P.S. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Man U.!!! (Poor DH, he's an Aresonal fan)
