We will be traveling with a few members of our party who are very healthy eaters. Obviously i'd assume most locations have some sort of healthier options. But what places generally offer the most healthier type options through city walk, universal,IOA. This could be sit down or quick services locations?? pictures would be great also. Thank you very much!

I guess a lot of it would depend on how the group defines "healthy". Off the top of my head, a few of the options I could think of.

Cowfish - Sushi and Burgers (a little something for everyone)
Simpsons Fast Food BLVD. Small Vegetarian grab and go section and Salads at Lisa Teahouse of Horrors.
Leaky Cauldron - Ploughman Cheese and Salad Plate + Scotch Egg
3 Broomsticks - Rotisserie Chicken with Corn on the Cob and roasted potatoes/ Several entrees come with a side of salad.

There is a thread at the top in the stickies....where to eat in Universal.......it's full of menus from parks, hotels and Citywalk.

You can see what's on offer and what would suit your group best.

Exactly. People define healthy eating in different ways! For me it's all about vegetarian and portion-control. The second bit is up to me. :)

In my case, DH has to watch his salt, but you don't often see "low-salt" highlighted on menus like you might "vegetarian" or "gluten-free" lately, so I'm hoping to find some personal recommendations before we go.

Fruit cups at cart vendors are usually good. Thunder Falls Terrace in Jurassic Park has nice decent options including rice and beans.

We bring some extra fruit in with us. It widens up our food options to know we have fruit we can add on.

I agree to look through the menus, as not everyone considers the same things healthy.

We've always grabbed lunch at Moe's Southwest Grill and tend to get a tortilla wrap packed full of veggies, a little bit of guacamole, and tofu.

i do a low salt diet but at the parks it might be difficult at times.

i follow a low salt diet most of the days while on vacation but always weaken at least a few times for pizza at Louies.
there are some things i can not give up......

i stay away from the basic foods that contain too much salt.
hot dogs, cereal, sauces, deli meats, etc

if you want snacks, fruit has already been mentioned here, no salted nuts are good if you want to bring some with you.
