Healthy CS options

I am trying to plan out some of our CS for our up coming trip.

What are your favorite healthy CS locations and items? I want to avoid as many hamburgers, chicken fingers and fries as possible.

Same here! I know they have a nice salad at Flame Tree BBQ in AK. I ask for the dressing on the side. Their is a fantastic Japanese Restaurant Yakatori House in Japan that has wonderful food that is healthy. What I have done is looked on allears.net at the menus to see what my healthy options so I am prepared. We have the dining plan which comes with dessert, so I will order it take a bite and that will be it. Good Luck!

We like Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe in Tomorrowland in MK.

While they do have the typical burgers, hotdogs, chicken fingers, et -- they also have soup, salad, wraps.

We like CHH. in the MK. There Tuna is very good and my DH likes the Hummus sandwhich.

What do YOU mean by healthy?

Almost all counter service places will have a salad or non-burger non-chicken finger option. All will serve carrots or something rather than fries, and offer milk. However, each venue will have a very limited menu board. It isn't a bad idea to spend some time with the CS menus here or on all-ears.net to figure out what you want. World Showcase in Epcot is generally pretty good. I'll second Ray's in terms of being able to get an expanded menu board - you have to go to different counters to get it, but you'll get more choices than "chicken ceasar."

It gets harder if healthy means vegetarian or vegan - and if healthy means organic, you might as well bring in your own food, you aren't going to find much (if any) of that at WDW.

I like the Sunshine Seasons counter service in the Land in Epcot. Excellent non-burger choices and fabulous desserts. We also like Columbia Harbor House tuna sandwiches.
