So, I need to maintain fulltime student to stay on my parents' health insurance plan. I cant meet with my adviser this week (this just came to mind a few minutes ago) because I have work tomorrow all day and cant ask them until next week...

Do different schools handle this differently? Is it unheard of that being on this program counts as being a fulltime student?

I know TONS of people probably have similar problems, I cant imagine they all just drop their insurance...

I know I can take online classes to maintain my status, but Im trying to avoid that as this is my last semester at my 2 year school, and those credits will all be a complete waste...

You no longer have to be a fulltime student to stay on your parents health insurance.

As long as you are under 26, you can stay on your parents health insurance regardless of student status. It was part of the 2010 Health Care Act.

My brother is 25 and not a student but working full time (but crappy benefits) and is still actually on my dads health insurance plan.
