Health inspection closed the Swan kitchen, really?

A kitchen at the Swan was recently closed for a day or so because of a failed health inspection? Gross!

I read it on the Orlando Sentinel twitter. I did wish they would clarify that the Swan/Dolphin while on property is not owned or operated by Disney as a lot of replies were how Disney should be ashamed of themselves and that they bet all the restaurants are this nasty. It does appear that it was their staff cafeteria and not a guest restaurant not that it makes it any better.

All my first thoughts. Very "implied" reporting ............ from a local paper that should have known much better.

It makes a bigger splash if they can put the word "Disney" in the article. Happened recently with a story about a "Disney employee" suing after being fired over his dreadlocks. Except the employee wasn't a Disney employee, and he was suing another company besides Disney.

Not to brush this off or anything, but I think many would be surprised at what is actually found in restaurant kitchens. Some health departments make inspection reports public. 24-11-4 Basic - Plates not properly protected or inverted to prevent contamination. At buffet bar area.
14-33-4 Basic - Reach-in cooler shelves with rust that has pitted the surface. At low boy reach in cooler located in buffet bar area.
12A-07-4 High Priority - Employee failed to wash hands before changing gloves and/or putting on gloves to work with food. At buffet bar area. **Corrected On-Site** **Repeat Violation**
31A-02-4 Intermediate - Handwash sink not accessible for employee use due to being blocked by cart. At hand sink located in pot sink area. **Corrected On-Site**
