For those of you visiting the Orlando area over the next week, we are experiencing a cold spell. Our highs have been in the 50s and 60s with lows in the 30s and 40s. Bring some warmer clothes. You'll be cold in shorts!
Thanks for the heads up. As you can see, we are heading out New Years Day and are hoping for a miraculous weather change, but we'll see. I don't care as long as I'm in Disney!
Thanks again,
Claire
We just got back and it is cold. Clear blue skies but a bitterly cold wind. Nice if you can get sheltered, otherwise jeans and jackets are required! We went to MVMCP on Tuesday night and when it snowed on Main Street it felt like it really should be!
Monday this week was okay though, we went to Blizzard Beach. Have to say though, only other people there seemed to be Brits!
While even I wouldn't be going near a waterpark at the moment, it is mostly clear skies and sunny weather. It's absolutely perfect golfing weather and I managed to play a couple of rounds this week. Think layers at the moment and I think you should be OK.
Jana's DS Gus did get on the receiving end of a rollocking last week at IOA when after expessly being told not to get wet he managed to get himself soaked to the skin messing about with water cannons. Lesson I think was taught when we went to an airconditioned restaurant to have lunch and he REALLY felt the cold. Even outside in the sun it took him a good hour to warm up. Next day at Universal we took a spare set of clothes for huim so he could go into the play ground and it didn't matter if he got soaked. I think the lesson sunk in though because there was only minimal dampness to be found on him LOL. NO lines on Dudley Doright's falls of Pluto's raft ride (funny that )
