Is it possible to use headphones with the televisions in the staterooms?
The "little ones" (now ages 12 and 14) are night owls and will stay up late watching movies on the stateroom television. We on the other hand are early risers and are looking for some way to co-exist (other than earplugs).
Can we plug earbuds/headphones into the tv and/or is there a way to connect two pairs?

I can't comment on the outputs from the television, but there will likely only be one jack if there is. You will need a headphone splitter. Easily found at radio shack, probably other electronics stores, and of course Amazon.

Maybe look into the cost of 2 cabins. Sometimes the cost is not much more Disney has connecting cabins. Or we booked a veranda for us and had the kids in a cabin across the hall.
You would need to book an adult in each cabin but it doesn't matter who sleeps where.

Two cabins is awfully nice! And of course the other option is for them to watch shows on their ipads, etc. Or go hang out doing activities around the ship?

They will probably be in their clubs till 12:00-1:00 am and then come back and crash.
