Headless Horseman question

This October will be our first Halloween party and I was wondering if the Headless Horseman rides the entire parade route or just a section of it?

I can't say for sure - but I believe the whole route. It's absolutely incredible watching him ride. The cm's are extra careful and be ready to make sure your feet are on the curb not in the street even a little.....it's a safety thing. I loved this though.

He rides the entire route...and it is, indeed, an awesome sight!

I think the best spot to catch the headless horseman is just over the wooden bridge along the parade route. I believe it was in Liberty Square near the Sleepy Hollow Refreshments that we were. On the opposite side of the street there is a wooden railing, great to have to lean on while waiting for the parade.

Hearing the horse coming was awesome, but only got better once it was coming over the wooden bridge. Very nice touch to add to the mood. I wouldn't want to see him in any other spot, wouldn't be the same.

I believe he does come down the whole parade route though, but I would highly recommend you be on the other side of the wooden bridge to get the most out of hearing him come.

Thanks everyone! You're all a great help! But need some further clarification......what direction does the parade go? If there are two parades, does it go in one direction for the first parade and the reverse direction for the second?

WORST place to be is at the beginning of the parade route He comes out at a full gallop and by the time you realize it's him - he's gone ........ but now I know better

The parade starts on Main street (between the Fire Station and the Barber Shop/Emporium) and works its way to Frontierland (where it exits to the left of Splash Mountain).
