Heading to Windsor Hills 1/19 - 1/23 - anyone going to be there?

Anyone from the DIS going to be in the resort or the area? 1 week to go !!

Thought I'd ask if anyone is there and interested... I saw the post on someone coming to EI next month and thought..hey..what a great idea!

I was doing a search on Windsor Hills, as this is where we've decided to stay. We are going next January (2008) and saw that you were there this year around the same time.

I am wondering about the weather during that time. Coming from Wisconsin, I know it will be much warmer, but I am wondering how warm it was during your stay.

Well for us the weather was absolutely perfect! It was 75-80 degrees every day, night time it would get down to 50 or so, somewhat cool, great sleeping weather as we'd open up the windows!

It can be a bit cooler though, so I'd recommend bringing along some warm clothes, jackets, sweatshirts, that sort of thing, just in case (like in the 50s or 60s).

The AVERAGE high for January (over the last 40 years) is 70...the average low is 49. Personally, I don't like it when it's in the 90s and hot and humid, I much prefer the 70s and 80s, plenty warm enough for me!

Coming from Wisconsin in January I think you'll love it!

By the way, the other great thing, the parks were absolutely empty in Jan, GREAT time to visit WDW! (After the New Year's holiday ends of course).
