Heading to WDW for our first visit!!!

We closed on the sale of our home in Utah this afternoon (recently relocated to Tallahassee) and were celebrating by heading to WDW tomorrow afternoon. We're going to surprise the kids and pull them out of school early tomorrow.

I got the Baymont Inn & Suites from Hotwire for $40 per night (2 nights).

We are seasoned Disneyland travelers and will start to become seasoned WDW travelers tomorrow.

We're going to get Florida resident seasonal annual passes so we can make a few return visits throughout the year.

Yeah!!!! Were so excited.

Not sure how shortly ago you relocated. Just checking to make sure you and your spouse both have changed your drivers licenses to FL. They won't let you get the SAP without state issued picture ID. They don't want to see your water bill, they want a license.

Yes, we do have FL driver's licenses; my 9 year-old son has his Disneyland Autopia driver's license, which I think should work.

When we had Disneyland annual passes last year we were able to add the parking option to my pass for like $45. Does WDW offer this on their annual passes?

The seasonal pass (the cheaper one with blackout dates) does not include parking. APs without blackout dates include free parking.

Something to consider, if you really want the Seasonal passes, but want free parking, only one of you needs the regular AP to get the free parking. Parking is $14 a day. You'll have to consider how many times you plan to visit to figure out if you'll break even. Also if you stay on site for some of those visits, (and you may if you get a good FL resident room rate), parking is free for on site guests.

Fl Resident AP (with free parking) $379
FL Resident SAP $259

Difference of $120 By your 9th day at the parks your parking is paid for.
