Good Morning!
Arrived from Va, late last night and it's good to be home. The RNR Va. Beach half was a blast and my timing wasn't too bad at 3:39, considering Iam not use to the heat and humidity and the gal that I walked with was participating in her first long walk.
We got up early on the morning of the marathon, took our showers, had breakfast, etc... and my sister still hadn't gotten out of bed. I told her to hurry or we would be late catching the bus, she just started laughing and said that she wasn't going and that she was going to stay in bed.

I thought she was kidding, but no she was dead serious, so needless to say we left her sleeping as we heading for the marathon. My sister is extremely out of shape, but I thought she would at least start the marathon with us, but she obviously had other plans
Anyway it was alot of fun rocking out with Billy Idol and visiting with my sister. The course is smooth and flat with only one little incline and I liked the fact that it ended on the boardwalk. After we got our bling we went directly to our hotel room and changed into our bathing suits and hit the beach. It was the perfect ending to a perfect day!
