I am buying new passes this month. My son's 14th birthday is Wednesday and we are going - just the two of us. He is excited because no little kids means we can ride the good rides.

We haven't been since june and we usually have a 5 year old with us - so this is going to be a totally different experience. Any fun ideas on things we can do?

THEN I am taking the 2/5/14 year olds up this weekend - I pricelined a room at the Crowne Plaza (didn't really like it last time we went but it's OK for the price). We are shooting up after my daughter cheers on Saturday and the kids have a dance competition on Sunday morning - not sure the times - so it should make for a nice short weekend trip.

Are they still doing fantasmic? Will haunted hotel be Nightmare Before Christmas? What can we do different this time?

Oh and what's the best way to do this - I wanted to get the new pass and apply the free birthday admission towards the price - but we have reservations for Goofy's kitchen - and I'd like to get the discount on breakfast... We are driving up from San Diego - I think our reservations are at 10 am... I don't think I can have both...

Fantasmic is showing Fri, Sat, Sun right now. All the Halloween stuff starts Sept 25. That includes the NBC overly to Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy, and nightly fireworks -- all starting Friday 9/25.

HTH,
Bob
