Resort change? Due to possibly being a DVC owner? Do tell, do tell .

Yep, probably. I'll spill a little of the beans.

Yes we would change. Doesn't make sense not too. If we're going to invest in DVC we might as well start earning some of our investment back right away.

Here's the scoop....

This weekend we looked through all the info, looked at the presentation, and watched the DVD and decided that DVC is really for us. We're already going annually and have no intentions of stopping anytime soon, so why not get a little something back for it right? Also like T told us, why not use the extra incentive points to pay for our trip in May. We'll still have the 2010 points to use or bank. He's right. Doesn't make sense to waste money on the Poly if we're going to purchase anyway.

Anyway Joe is working his crazy hours tonight and tomorrow so we won't be able to get in and talk to our advisor until Thursday at 10am. She's a pretty straight shooter. We're not thrilled with the Disney financing options so we want to check with our bank. We think we can do a lot better. We are of course pursuing a purchase at AKL Kidani Villas. BLT just doesn't appeal to Joe at all. My country boy doesn't like the modern, sleek design.

Anyway keep your fingers crossed that everything goes well.

YAY!!!! I'm happy to hear about yall decision. There truly is great vallue in it. Plus, you'll walk in those rooms, especially a 1BR, and just fall in love. Like most DVCers, the only regret we have is not buying sooner.

You and Joe are like us. That sleek, modern look of BLT just does nothing for us. Now throw in VWL or AKV and we are happy as can be.

I can't wait to hear about how things go on Thursday.

Thanks Lisa! That's exactly our thought process. Buy now before we get slammed with designer clothes, college tuition, vehicles, vehicle insurance etc.

I am so bummed I couldn't get into the stupid webinar. Checked the DVC board and apparently others are having the same problem. I did find out that they are offering an additional $2/point off the regular incentive. I'll call T tomorrow and see what's up.

Well I will have to take lots of pictures of your possible new "home" when we go! Like others have said, my dad is another one who says we wish we joined sooner. He just didn't know if we'd still want to go to Disney all the time when we were older. Clearly he had no idea. But we love it!
