Heading back to Princess Josie's Castle-An AKV May 22-29 PTR-TR Started 6/3!

Yay for adding Le Chef's we are trying it too! Whooo Hoo on the DVC tour. Saw some cute pics on FB. Glad you had a fun weekend!!
Thanks Mary! Thanks about the FB pics too. It's been a great week! Today will be busy again but in a different way. :goodvibes

How exciting about the DVC tour! cute pictures of the girls feeding the birds...happy to hear you guys had such a beautiful spring day! ours was yesterday; I wanted to hit the zoo but Danny did not get in from work in time...next week maybe! Hope you guys have a great day tomorrow, too!
Hi Connie! We did have some beautiful weather here this week. It's supposed to rain today but that will give me a perfect reason to get some dreaded housework done. We are meeting Josie's softball coach today. She's :cloud9:. Thanks about the FB pics. I have some more pics coming. I was just working on figuring out my phone yesterday. Can't wait to be able to do that while at Disney! :woohoo: You are just a little over a month out! Are you getting excited?!?

So the weekend started with dinner at Mariah's (a locally owned restaurant). They were celebrating their 30th anniversary. It took a while to get in there but it was sooooo worth it. YUMMO! After I got home at 10pm, I had to get started on a cake for one of our good friends son. He wanted Guitar Hero and blue, black and silver but that was all the direction I got whatsoever. They had his party last night at a local Gymnasium. The kids had a ball playing capture the flag, dodgeball, kickball and guitar hero. They used a projector to put the Wii game on the wall. Very cool stuff!

Anyway here is a picture of the cake, after all the stomping and finger pointing. I didn't think to take one at home before it got bounced around for 3 hours. Anyway you get the idea...

Saturday morning we headed to the zoo. We became members yesterday so that we can go to the zoo anytime we want. We live about an hour from two good sized zoo's so we will most definitely get the most out of this investment. Here are some pics of our day!

It was about 60° when we arrived so we still had our light jackets on! It was a busy day. By the time we left it was starting to get pretty busy.

After getting back we had about 30 minutes before the birthday party began. We got home from the party about 8:30pm. After that, Joe and I looked over some DVC info while we watched Big Cat Diary off our DVR. I'm fascinated by that show. I can watch it over and over again. Well better get some work done. Hope you're enjoying a great weekend! I know I am!!

Oooh, looking over DVC info...that sounds exciting! You guys are thinking of becoming members, right? I hope you do...we love DVC!

It sounds like a great weekend. The cake is great Leanne! You really have a talent with it. We have discussed becoming Audubon members down here. We get entry into the Zoo, Aquarium of the Americas, and the Insectariuim. It looks like a lovely day.

Glad to hear you booked your tour too. How's the research going?

Great Zoo pics! Girls are so cute. Really great cake, Avery would like you to make her a princess/figure skater one for her bday in 2 weeks :) DVC talks-something could be a brewing there in Kentucky!!:banana:

You are sooooo talented at making cakes. That one is amazing! I bet the little boy loved it. What a fun idea for a party! The girls are adorable at the zoo, it looks like a lot of fun!

You've managed to amaze me again with your talents!! That cake is gorgeous!!

Love the pics at the zoo....I swear the girls get cuter with every single picture.....maybe we'll get to see them for real in September:thumbsup2

The pictures of the girls at the zoo are so cute :cutie:. It looks like ya'll had a great weekend, busy as it may have been. I can't get over how tall Lindsey is getting. She looks like she has grown a foot :scared1:.

We are getting pretty serious about it. Just have a few more things to clear up and we will probably invest. :goodvibes I'm getting so giddy about it.

Thanks Megan! It was a really nice day yesterday. Research is going VERY well at the moment. We are leaning towards investing now...just a little worried that there wouldn't be availability for our upcoming trip if we do and it would be a waste. :sad2:

GREAT cake!!! Also, yay for DVC! Are you going to become a member :goodvibes

Thanks Katie! We are really considering a DVC membership in the near future. Not sure if we should do it now or wait. We have a few other minor things to find out about as well but overall we're really interested. :goodvibes

Thanks Mary! I'd love to do a cake for Avery. Wish I could find a way to ship it without it looking like a mess. :goodvibes There is something definitely a brewin' in KY. :lmao:

Thanks so much Kayce! Jus did love his cake and the kids were having so much fun at the party. The cake was chocolate fudge with peanut butter icing-I'm not a peanut butter fan but this cake was soooo good. The zoo was a lot of fun for all. Can't wait to go back! :woohoo: Hope you've had a nice weekend! :goodvibes

Thanks Queen! It was a fun cake. Thanks about the girls. I hope we do get to meet in September. I have my fingers crossed for you and Jas!

Thanks so much Dana! Hmmmm....how can I get that boy that cake. I'll have to work on that-when's his b-day...it's after May right?

I can't believe how big Lindsey's getting myself. We did have a great weekend. It's so funny to me that Lindsey looks like Daddy and is built like Momma and Josie looks like me and is built like Daddy. Josie is petiet and Lindsey is going to be tall. Lindsey has grown 3.5 inches since our trip last year. :goodvibes

You are welcome. Dallas' birthday is in September.

3.5 inches in less than a year . Girl you better take out some stock in a clothing business....:lmao:. Isn't DNA a funny thing? I don't think any of my kids look like me, but if Dallas and I are together people will say he looks like me :confused3. These are people who have never seen Dale.........:rotfl2:.

Lindsey is growing very fast. I used to save her clothes for Josie but at this pace, the clothes are going to look like they are from another decade by the time Josie can wear them. We were trying on bathing suits yesterday and the 3T and 4T bathings suits are still falling off of Josie...looks like we will be wearing a 2T again this year. :scared1:

I think Miss Amanda looks A LOT like her Momma for sure. Dallas favors you as well. I can see what people see. :goodvibes
