Heading Back! Feb. 2017!

Hello everyone - well after booking (and cancelling) a Disney cruise, we decided we wanted to go back to WDW next year instead. We have rented two studios at BLT, and I'm very excited about being able to walk to the MK this time! I wanted to know if anyone had experience touring in February and if so, could you share some general info (weather, crowds, etc.)? We are going the 12th - 17th, so I'm hoping crowds will be someone lighter since we're missing both President's Day weekend and the half-marathon weekend.

I arrived on February 14th this year and weather-wise, temps were in the mid to high 70's. It was in the 50's in the mornings - we ran the Princess 10K in 55 degree weather. So, light sweatshirt weather for the mornings.

But, two years ago, mid-February was very warm and humid. The Princess runners, for all 3 races, were advised not to attempt to attain their personal best due to weather conditions.

DHS and Epcot weren't very crowded this year. I was able to book FPs for TSMM, ToT and ST a couple of days in advance. I was also able to find a nice place to sit to watch the SW fireworks and then immediately walk to Epcot to watch Illuminations near the France Pavilion area.

I think you'll enjoy visiting in February!
