Headed to Library and need book ideas

I;m sooo bored!!! And broke! So I figure I'll take the kids in the pouring rain to the library. I don't have a favorite author although I loved The Fountainhead by Ann Rand and loved the Twilight books. I also enjoy true-crime books.

Anything good? At this point I'm thinking of borrowing anything by Chelsea Handler lol

Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series is fun to read, great characters- laugh out loud situations-- One for the Money is the 1st one- she is upto 16 ,, also not really an adult book but I have been reading the Percy Jackson series with my DD - they are OK too.

I used to read Tess Gerritsen but I started having nightmares they were a bit scary!

At the moment I like Jodi Picoult, her books often have a twist at the end and really get you thinking, my favourite is Handle with care.

Also Alice Sebold but I think she has only done 2/3 books.
