I have the following DISigns for my girls BBB surprise from Santa. The envelope will be the name fill, and the invite will be inside with a Disney GC to cover the cost, cus after all mom can't use her Debit card at BBB if Santa gives it to them, right??

Those are nice. I finally found a Disney shirt my Disney-hating daughter will wear; it's got a cheetah chasing Mickey on it. I'll have to be sure and tell her she's not allowed to gloat, "He's going to catch Mickey and eat him" while in the parks.

For shame, trying to eat Mickey. Kids these days. :rotfl2

Hubby comes to me last weekend and says: how much would be to add my mom.

Let me explain. I love my MIL. She is awesome. I have no problem traveling with her. I have no problem paying for her. I have no problem taking her to WDW - IF it had been part of the plan from day one. DH has no idea what means in disney speak to go from 4-5. Its a game changer. Its difficult at best, pert near impossible for THE WEEK OF CHRISTMAS 40ish DAYS out!!

So anyway, after I woke up from my I checked. not only was it WAY more money that he thought, the ADRs were basically impossible. So he changed his mind. Instead, we have a new plan.

DH will drive the 4 hours to get his mom on the 20th. They will come here on the 21st. We will have a big ole christmas dinner here on the 23rd, open presents, etc, and she will take us to the airport on the 24th, stay at our house and keep our pets banana and pick us up on NYE. in return, we will give her the money we would have paid to park and the dog boarder (three dogs and a hamster is $$$). It will help her out a lot, and my neurotic dog won't have to stay in a kennel. he HATES them.

In planning news, Kroger has the 4x fuel points gc promotion again, so I picked up the GCs for the BBB and the girls suvie cards from Santa. Still have the one for our tips/spending to buy. DD7s big christmas gift came in and we are ordering DD11s today, and after that we are D O N E done!

Have our Christmas decorations packed in a carry on roller board. The Christmas Presents will go in my big camera bag, we will have one more roller board with a change of clothes and toothbrushes for every one, and the girls will have their backpacks of stuff to do on the plane. The rest will get checked - I think 3. Maybe 4. (we get free bags, up to 8).

Also picked this up from EBAY for me (the kids have pin lanyards, but I can put our KTTW cards in this one)

Mickey Mail came today!

I heard the post run, and my youngest DD went to get it.

She came tearing back in the house screaming MOMMA WE Got Mail FROM DISNEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She's a tad excited.

I said: WE DID!!! Bring it bring it bring it!!!!

I know, that MIL bit rocks. AND she'll be here to cook for us in the 23, which is like heaven anyway.

So, I picked up gift cards for the kids for their stockings and BBB invite at Kroger Sunday, normal Disney gift cards.

I had a migraine yesterday, the kind with the zigzaggy vision lights thing. I HATE that, but at least when I get the zig zags I have enough warning to take my meds and avoid the 3 day headache. Unfortunately I have to sleep after that so not much done last night around the house to get us ready to leave for Thanksgiving. I hate migraines. They really stink. I'm praying I dont get one while at Disney. Normally I have one around this "time" of the month, and the "timing" should be so that I don't get one while we are there, but they have been known to surprise me.

I go back to day to pick up the one for our KTTW card - AND THEY HAVE MICKEY AND MINNIE in holiday attire with SNOW

*POUT* I would have LOVED to have those for the girls.

yeah I know, real serious problem

but, now, with the LAST card is bought, except for the little bit of cash we will take with - WE ARE DONE!!

4 days until my ticker drops to weeks, 24 days till online checkin, and 34 days till Disney!!!

Life update:

Thanksgiving was fun, we spent 5 days in Alabama at with my dad and stepmom. While there, I saw family I havent seen in a couple of years. It was fun. Then we went out and shot guns - such an Alabama thing to do. HA We live in town so we cant practice here. DH got a new handgun a week or so ago so I showed him what I can do with it. He was impressed. Zombies, look out!

We took all three dogs with us, they had a blast romping in the fields. they slept the whole 4 hours home. city dogs, cant hang.

The kids realized we are four weeks from WDW tomorrow!!!! From now until we leave we will be super busy.

This week, we have DD11s first band concert, I have a preschool leader Christmas party, DH is going deer hunting Friday, then we are all going to see TobyMac on Saturday

Next week DD has a dance, and we have lots of rehearsals for the Christmas program at church. Three performances the weekend of the 8th. The next weekend my dad and stepmom will come see us before Christmas. The next weekend hubby will go get MIL and we will be prepping for Christmas with MIL and PACKING for WDW! I hope I have time to breathe in there!

Today I had a conference call at work so while I was listening I got all my graphics cut out and folded and made for our trip.

I found some super cute mousekeeping envies and got those cut out and folded and ready to go too.

Will it ever ever get here?!

I KNOW! and I left out a three day work retreat. AND yesterday I found out I'm on a team of 5 to pick and coordinate our office Christmas Charity. ACK!

Now I'm waaaaay too busy and we have waaaay too much to do!!!

18 days 18 days 18 days!

That was my DD7 this morning.

DD11 however is laying on the couch. With what I believe to be the flu, but will find out for sure this afternoon. hopefully if we are all going to get it, we will get it this week. Id rather get it over with if we are going to have it. AND we were good little citizens and got our flu shot. So, my really busy week went to nothing but sitting around and taking care of her. I gotta admit, while she missed her first dance and will miss being in the Christmas program at church this weekend, I've enjoyed not running hither and yon.

So, while I was out getting lysol, tissue and the like, I found some $1 packs of clorox wipes that I bought and put in my travel stash.

Nothing else really going on trip wise.

8 days to online check in. I have quit trying to tweak ADRs, and I have played around with touring plans. I already subscribed to it, but DH has some friends that used ridemax, and he wants to try that one.

So, DD11 had Strep, got a shot and back to school today. I'm still home - today is the first day without fever, and since I have to go out of town Wed-Fri for work, I decided not to push it. I guess I had the flu. Seems people who got the shot have been sick for 3-4 days, and I felt like a truck hit me Thurs-Fri-Sat and started coming back to life yesterday. Feel MUCH better today, but still kinda tired. Wrapped some presents this morning, and...

PACKED MY FIRST BAG! Our Christmas decoration carry on! Yes, I know you arent supposed to take snowglobes, but these are plastic with no liquid. They blow the snow around with air.

I cant pack clothing b/c our weather is a lot like Orlando, so what we wear now we will probably wear there. The forecast for Christmas week looks FAB! I hope it holds.

My MIL House/pet sitter took a new job.

But she is still able to come and sit our house for us.

She nearly gave me a heart attack. I mean I really dont have time for a plan b for the dogs two weeks out from a major holiday.

But she confirmed tonight she IS coming, DH is going to get her on the 20th but she has to be back the 3rd instead of that last weekend.



In other news I got my LGMH printed and on cardstock, waiting to laminate.
I got my autograph cardstock ready and retractable sharpies good to go.
