Hi all. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a headband. I wear my hair in a ponytail when I run but my hair tends to fall out on the sides so I'd like to get a headband to keep it all pulled back. I bought some cheapies at the drugstore and they do not stay put! Any good ones out there?

I wear Bondiband. I have a WISH Princess one, one that says "Powered by Pixie Dust", and another that is covered in pink neon stars. They never move!

I like Sweaty Bands, but have never tried Bondibands...I am sure they are just as good!

Both my husband and I wear bondibands. I wear mine pretty far forward to cover part of my forehead, and it stays put and keeps the sweat out of my eyes. It wicks very well, and it's super light-weight.

Thanks everyone! A sweet fellow DISer is making me one similar to the sweaty band so I'm gonna give that one a try first and hope it works!!! I've continued using my cheapies and just stopping to readjust it at least once a run. It sucks but at least its keeping the hair out of my eyes for now. Cant wait to use something that helps with the sweat too!

I LOVE bicbands! http://www.bicbands.com/ I have a bondi band, but I'm not a big fan of the look (and it actually slides on me - who knew?) but it seems like it would be good at wicking sweat away. I usually just wear a hat, but I do like the bicbands for nighttime or even just going out! Normal cloth headbands always slip off my head.

Darn this W.I.S.H. board! I had to order Sweaty Bands to compare them to my beloved bondibands. Now, it looks like I'll "need" a bic band. The Bic bands look like Sweaty Bands except they have different (sparkly :cool2:) designs. The sparkly design would be perfect for a subtle princess-like touch for my upcoming WDW trip.

My observations:

I have bangs. The bondiband is thicker than the sweaty band and is able to hold my bangs back and down without my hair sticking up at the edge of my band. With the sweaty band, my bangs were pulled back but at the back edge of the SB, my bangs stuck up and looked odd. I used the thickest sweaty band sold on their site. I also found the SB a little tight but I have a big head.

The bondi also did a better job at wicking sweat, IMO.

If the bondiband slips, make sure it's touching your forehead. I used to wear mine too far back, off my forehead and they felt just like any other headband. However, when I pulled the band down over part of my forehead, no problems.

I love Bondibands and I have short hair. It holds back my bangs and is great at wicking the sweat.
