hi all,
former/retired FDNY chief eddie gaberial(i know i'm spelling it wrong)who retired from the FDNY's office of emergency mangement in oct of this year has been hired by disney to lead disneys,crisis team.he will go to work for disney as the leader of disney mangement for crisis and emergency situations reguarding every aspect of disney world wide.his goal in disney is to have ready plans for any and all emergencys that can happen in any owned disney property.had i knew this postion was availble,you know i would have tried my best to get it.I guess i have to do some tush kissing to him in the hopes maybe he has the right to hire a few com rads from the fdny to be under him,for planning and training experince.of course i don't know him at all,so i guess this will never happen for me. anyone know his new phone number at disney????

I don't know, but as my DH would say, you could always call 911 and ask them*** (rolls eyes, where's the icon anyway?). My DH is a 911 dispatcher, and they get so many ridiculous calls, it's terrible....what time is Santa in the house downtown? What time are the fireworks? When is the parade?

***I am only kidding, I would never call 911 for such a thing. No attacks, please

You know, you could try to find an old contact number/email for him from the FDNY. I have a feeling that he'd want one of his brethren who loves da mouse helping him out! He knows how well the FDNY trains it's people!

You could try his name first.last@disney.com as that's how the disney email addresses are set up. At least they were at the reservation center & entertainment anyway... *grin*
