What are the chances that the HDDR would hold the attn of my 2 1/2 year old? I have read good things, but if it lasts awhile I am worried he will get bored.
We have gone on several occasions with the kids to HDDR. I'm sure that someone in there was 2 on one of those trips. My girls have always loved the show.
We took our oldest when he was 18 months and again at 2 1/2. He enjoyed it both times - but more the first time because our table was right in front of the stage. The part where they bang spoons on the washboards was a big hit with him! (I don't know if they still do that.)
This is a tough one. I think the show is very entertaining and your child might enjoy all the singing and dancing. However, I think you might want to be careful at how tired your child will be.
When we went my youngest was 3. She was so exhausted she fell asleep before the show even started and wouldn't wake up for anything. I ended up paying for her ticket and she didn't eat anything and I couldn't eat that much because I was holding a sleeping child. Strollers are not allowed inside.
