We have been to WDW 7 times but never done Hoop dee do review. We have ressies--is it good for all ages--I'm worried about my 10 year old daughter--will she thinks it's corny?!

Please advise..

It is corny but so much fun and people of all ages like it. We have been twice and loved it both times even with teens.

You will love it:wizard:

We finally saw it for the first time in May 2009 after thinking for years that it would be too corny. I don't want to say we loved it...but we took my sister, BIL and her 2yo back in November 2009 and I just booked it TODAY for our trip in August when my MIL will be with us. We're pretty hard core signature dining people, but we have enjoyed the food there, too - the sangria will put hair on your chest, though! :rotfl:

We loved it - put it off for a while thinking as Brits we may not get it but went last February as a surprise for DS BIRTHDAY and loved it. Booked to go again in October.

The entertainment we found hilarious if a bit predictable. The kids have been talking about it and singing that darn song for over a year (daren't mention the word hoop in this house).

Food was good if not thrilling except we didn't like the dessert.

Sangria and wine were nice but don't expect loads - we got two glasses each as server was rarely to be seen.

Like all the previous people said....it is corny BUT my daughters laughed so hard they nearly passed out the last time we went. We will be going back on our next trip this August. It is well worth it! One of Disney's true gems!

I agree with all the PP's. We thought it would be too corny for us but decided to try it; it was great! Good food, good show, and unlimited beer and sangria? Makes for a boot stompin' good time!

We've been there 4 times over the years sharing it with a different group of folks each time. All ages (and "sophistication" levels!;)) have had a fabulous time. It is a lot of fun and not to be missed, IMHO. Yes, it is corny, but who cares? Enjoy!!! :lmao:

HDDR is a must do for us. It is always dinner on our first night there. Our kids are 22, 18 and 14. I suggested that we do something else the last time and I thought they were ready to lead me to the gallows.....needless to say, we went. We have been seated all over the room and enjoyed it everytime.

We have went the last five times and loved it..my kids think it is very funny and ask to go every year. Just fyi if you decide to go give yourself plenty of time to get there it is way out

I have been to WDW many times. If fact just got back recently. I do not go to the HDDR every time but have been twice. YES is worth it. The food is good and it's great fun.

it depends on your food tastes...we love this show! our kids are all ages and they love it too! we love the food...fried chicken, ribs, mashed potatoes, strawberry shortcake..and the sangria....mmmmmm!

but we prefer simple food to fancy...the food is on level with kfc to a chilis...not 5 star fare! but it is like the food at home so we really like it...if you are expecting fancy food you will be disappointed...

the show is corny but everyone in my family laughs and loves it...my hubby won't come to wdw unless i have a reservation!!!!

We have been twice and have loved it both times. Our 6 year old got to be part of the show in February - which made it extra special. Here he is as the Texas Ranger:
