HDDR with DDE last show only

I'm considering making PS for HDDR for Sunday 4/17. MK is open til 11pm. Question is how is the best way to get back to our resort (AKL)? Launch back to MK then a bus? Or is there a better way? DD11 loves HDDR and this will be the last time she is considered a child. Has anyone done the last show? Any help is most appreciated.

When we went to the HDDR back in Jan 2004 they had buses that would take you straight to your resort from there. If they don't do that this time (with MK still being open), I'd probably take the boat to MK and get on the bus to AKL from there.
