Ok, now I am concerned that I made one of the worst ADR errors.

I booked HDDR (with my credit card confirmation) for our arrival date. Our plane is due to arrive at 1pm, I have made 5pm ressies. BTW this is for June 7th. Now I am afraid of plane being delayed...therefore not getting in on time, and having them charge my credit card.

But, if I cancel, I have no where else to work this in (if I could even get a ressies) and was thinking that this was the best first night dinner/activity for my family of 4.

What would you do? Cancel ressies and not risk being late and having CC charged?

If so, what other first night meal/activity would you suggest in its place. DD's are 6 and 8

Personally, I wouldn't risk it, especially since you're cutting it pretty close with only 4 hours to allow for any potential delays *and* travel time from the airport to WDW, check in, and travel time from your resort to Ft Wilderness. We prefer to plan something for our arrival night that we wouldn't be terribly upset to miss/cancel, because of the uncertainties of travel.

As far as alternate plans, I'm not sure what to suggest without knowing more about what you already have planned and where you're staying.

Thats a dilly of a pickle. If the plane is delayed over an hour and theres a long wait to get on DME and to check in you very well could miss it. On the other hand you could very well make it with an hour or so to spare...

I would probably keep it and have one person check in to your resort and the rest head over to FW to check in at HDDR

I would cancel it and prolly have a nice relaxing dinner at the resort and then swim in the pool, or you could go do downtown disney do some shopping and have a meal there.

Call and see if you can get the 7:15 show or the 9:30 one if that isn't too late for your group.

Yes, I agree. 9:30 show especially is the last to book up so there still may be something available. I think you should try to book for later in the night and keep trying until you get it, if you don't I'd cancel the 5PM show.
