HDDR good start to Disney Christmas!

Was not expecting anything but a corny slapstick show tonight and had a WONDERFUL time. Buses weren't too crowded, show ran like clockwork and was hilarious, food was much, much better than expected. I know everyone raves about it, but I really was pleasantly surprised. We even ate at the Rainforest Cafe for lunch, just on a whim, and not only were we seated within ten minutes but we actually enjoyed our salads and had a nice time. I think after reading tons of reviews expressing disappointment, my expectations were low, but we totally enjoyed DTD shopping today (little boy was hugging every stuffed Pooh Bear and Nemo in the stores), decent time at the Rainforest Cafe, great time at HDDR, nice hotel (WDW Hilton), and looking forward to tomorrow! Will report back on dining tomorrow to see if it goes as swimmingly once we enter the parks and other resorts.

Its our favorite too! Its hidden gem! The last time we went to Dw our daughters kept asking us to go. They were 5 and 7 and loved it!
