HDDR Categories?

Okay- I probably should have asked about this when I made my ressies but I was given Cat 2 for The Hoop Dee Doo show when we go. I'm just noticing other talking about which category to try for so now I'm curious what it's all about.. What are the different categories and do they make much of a difference?

Looks like the categories equate to where you're seated.
