HDDR at 5 or 7:15

We're planning to be at AK for rope drop on a Saturday morning in April. My plan was to stay until 2:30 or 3, then go directly to Ft. Wilderness (by bus) for the 5 HDDR. Now I'm wondering if we'd be better off going back to BLT for a break and taking the boat to the 7:15 show. We've done the 7:15 show before and kids did fine. They'll be even older this trip - 4, 7, and 9. Either way, we'll call it a night when we get done, take the boat back to BLT and go to sleep. The next day we is my son's birthday (7), and we're planning a Cef Mickey's breakfast at 7:30, then either MK or HS until lunch, back to the pool for a while, then T-Rex at 6.

Any advice?

Personally, I would take a break back at BLT before the 7:15 show. I think an hour nap will help everyone enjoy the show even more. I think you are right, 2:30 is probably a good time to leave AK. But instead of heading straight to Ft Wilderness, I would rest a bit first.
