HDDR and MK afterwards

Hi. I kind of asked this on the Theme Park Strategies board as part of a laundry list of other questions but since it's more transpo related, I'll ask it again here...

We are now going to HDDR at 7:15 on a night where MK is having evening EMH 11-2, 9PM MSEP and 10pm Wishes. Expected crowd level of 5 per TP. We'll have a car and are staying at Pop. We want to spend a few hours in MK after HDDR. What is the best plan keeping in mind that we will be leaving MK around midnight:

1. Driving to HDDR from Pop and taking boat to/from MK after dinner? Is this easier than trying to get to/from the TTC? Can I leave my car at FW after dinner for a few hours?

2. Taking bus to MK then boat to/from FW for HDDR?

3. Drive to TTC, ferry/monorail to MK, boat to/from FW?

4. Valet at CR, walk to MK then boat to/from FW?

5. Take bus to MK then boat to/from FW then taxi home from MK? Are taxis at the entrance or do you need to go to the TTC? I have seen conflicting answers to this one.

It might help to know where you will be during the day before HDDR. From your info so far, I would say drive to TTC so that your car is in that parking lot for you and ready when you are ready to leave MK at the end of the night. The last thing you may want after a long day is to spend a long time transferring around to get to you final destination. This way, all you have to do at the end of the night is monorail back to TTC and then drive to your hotel. NOt a whole lot of extra transferring needed.

Spending the morning at MK then taking a mid day break and a nice nap so we'll be heading out from Pop. We are hoping to use a few FPs collected in the morning before/after HDDR then just hang out and enjoy MK at night.

I would Valet park at the CR if you don't mind spending the extra money, Take the boat from CR to FW, it's a short walk from the dock to Pioneer Hall, after the show take the boat to MK, and then either walk or monorail back to the CR to get your car.
This will use the least amount of time in my opinion.
Valet is $12 plus tips

The best cheap way in my opinion would be to bus from Pop to MK, boat to FW, after show boat back to MK and then bus back to Pop.

No taxis at the entrance of MK, its quicker to walk to the CR and get a taxi there instead of going to the TTC.

All your other other options are possible except 1. Like all other resorts, you shouldn't park at FW for park access.

if you drive to FW, you will have to take campground bus to HDDR from the front parking lot. that means if you leave car there and boat to MK on way back boat to FW, then bus to parking lot. about 20 minute boat ride and 20 to 30 minutes bus counting waiting time. i would park at TTC and get to MK, boat to HDDR and repeat back. no car parking at HDDR and it is about a mile walk from parking lot to HDDR

Thanks all. I appreciate the information - very helpful. I think we'll park at the TTC and spend an hour or so in MK before we take the bus to FW for HDDR. DD has never been on the monorail or the ferry and I haven't been on either of them in many many years so it will be fun. We'll consider it one of the attractions.

Since MK is having EMH til 2am and we're staying until a few hours after Wishes, I'm assuming it will be a little less of a crush getting back to the TTC than when Wishes closes out the night and everyone leaves at once????

Monorail vs. Ferry? I think take the Ferry over to get that view of the castle from the water and then monorail back. Does it make a difference? Is one significantly faster than the other?
