HDDR and dessert

Does any one know if you could get something other than strawberry shortcake for dessert at HDDR? My DS 7 DOES NOT eat strawberries but loves sweets. I would actually love to get a cake to suprise DH with as it is our ANNE. Thanks

As far as I know, and I've been several times, all you can get is the stawberry shortcake...but I do not know if you can set something special up, you should call and ask if they would do a cake or something for the special occassion...good luck!

I'm not sure if your DS would be interested but my DFIL is a diabetic and we got a fruit plate for him.

I asked during the meal, as I did not know prior to going to call ahead, for the cake without strawberries as I cannot eat them either. I am allergic. But if you call disney dining and tell them about the strawberries ahead of time they will give you the # to HDDR and they can mark on your reservation about it and offer something different.

I asked for plain ice cream for my 7 yr old because he doesn't eat strawberries either and they brought him a paper cup full of choc. and vanilla ice cream. - Thanks Dis because I wouldn't have know to ask here before coming to this board.
