HDD or Poly Luau for a just turned five year old.

Asking for a friend,

She, her mother and her "will be turning 5 at WDW" daughter wanted my opinion on Hoop-Dee-Doo and the Polynesian Luau.

She was wondering which one would be the most appropriate for her daughter and as I have never been to either, I thought I would ask you all.

Does anyone have any opinions??

She was also wondering if either of these were a "must-do" for first timers.

I would definatley say the HDD. The Luau was one of our least favorites. Long show for kids, cold food, and the food wasn't all that good either. The HDD is very entertaining and they have some audience participate in the show, kids too. The food is actually not that bad. A much better choice for kids in my opinion.
