I've had it with this hayfever thing....i've got streamy itchy eyes, runny nose and it's not even sunny or even that warm!!! I've had every drug on the market, i was going to try a spoonful of local honey but some little so and so's kicked the hives down so their is non this year! I'm meant to be going into town but i look like i've been crying all morning...anyone else??

I'm the same Emily, it's no fun is. Even the tablets and eye drops I got from the Doctor are not helping today.

My dd and dh both suffer with hayfever but both are not too bad today.Victoria has had it since she was 5 and takes tablets, eye drops and nasal spray. Now she is 14 she understands why she cannot go outside some days etc. but it was so upsetting when she younger and couldn't play with her friends . Luckily I don't get it but I do understand how miserable it can make you feel. I hope you are feeling better soon.

It's awful isn't it!?? I don't know about you, but mine started ridiculously early this year! I have been taking allergy/sinus drugs prescribed by my GP but their effectiveness has definitely worn off and I need to try something else now.

Normally i start around March time, but this year it seems to just be starting around now. Today i'm not just going out...i can't be doing with red sore eyes and Monday i think i will book an appointment for a new inhaler as i go very wheezy around this time of year too...hugs to all you other hayfever sufferers....

my dd had just been diagnosed with hayfever....its not pleasant is it :confused3

I haven't been too bad this year so far & I usually suffer really bad from it. The only tablets that work for me are Zirtek ones.

I know its not nice, I went on holiday one year & didn't take anything with me and suffered all the time.

I get hayfever symptoms pretty much all year round, dust etc can set it off. When I saw the doctor he prescribed nasal drops and they are fantastic. He said they are better than the sprays as they go into the sinuses rather than the back of the throat. The only problem is that you can only use them for a month and then have to trow the rest away. I've just run out and can't stop sneezing. I guess I'll be spending my cash on prescriptions this year :rotfl:
