Hay Ride at FW

I am going in 10 days!!! YAY!!! Anyway, we will see Hoop De Doo at 5pm on a Thursday eve. There is a hay ride leaving at 7pm right outside Pioneer Hall. Will I have enough time to get tix since you can't purchase in advance?? Do they usually sell out?? They start selling an hour before. Is the hay ride worth it with kids ages 5 - 10??

Hayride at FW and try to go on it on our Decemeber trips.I think it seats around 16 to 20 people.We enjoy it because in Dec all campers have out holiday lights out.It has not sold out during our time frame,that said you may going during a bigger crowds time than us.In Dec they have one at 7:00 and 9:00.We go on 9:00 hayride after 7:15 HDDR and have had time to go on 9:00 hayride.So I think you could get to 7:00 hayride after you see 5:00 HDDR.I think the kids will enjoy and CM will let kids take turns sitting with him in drivers seat on wagon.Or our driver has in Dec anyway.Cost to us $8 each for me and DW and the CM can only take cash.
