Hay Ride at Fort Wilderness Campground?

I read somewhere that there's a hayride at Fort Wilderness that takes you around some of the loops to see the campers, etc.. Does anyone know how this works? Do you have to book it in advance? Where do you get on? Cost? Would it be silly for 2 adults to do this with no children? Thanks for any info. I thought it would be a nice way to unwind at the end of a busy day.

Sorry I can't answer your questions. I just wanted to say there are also private horsedrawn carriage rides at FW. I have in my notes that they can be booked from 6pm to 9:30pm and they are around $30 for 30 minutes. I don't know if that info is up to date and I don't know how to reserve it. It does sound romantic though.

We went on a Hayride in FW after Hoop De Doo - I can't recall the cost, as it was several years ago. We didn't make ressies, just gave the driver the money & off we went. It was in Dec & we sang Christmas Carols as we went to the beach to watch the fireworks - Very nice time indeed.... I would go again even without children.

My kids went a few years ago with my parent's. I think the cost was $8 for adults, and a little less for children. They had a wonderful time, and the kids still talk about it.

Hay rides are offered at FW from pioneer hall at 7:00 and 9:30- $8.00 adult and $4.00 children. I am sorry I don't know the route they take I have never been I just remember seeing the info on a website so I looked it up again for you that is all the info they provided.

We're doing this on our trip next week,so I'll know first hand after that but for now this is what I've found.

Nightly wagon rides at Pioneer Hall at 7 and 9:30 PM - Cost $8 adults, $4 children. Depending on MK hours, there are sometimes special "Fireworks" wagon rides scheduled.
