There is a 3 hour time change for me form Toronto to Vancouver.

Question is when does the time change next, when you get to Hawaii or gradual on the 5 sea days?

Usually DCL will have you change your clocks gradually over the course of the cruise towards your destination.

On our Transatlantic cruise we had a 6 hour time difference between Miami and Spain. We changed our clock up 1 hour 6 different times over the13 nights.

Thanks good to know it will end up being 6 hours difference over all.

Might try going on at lease the 3 hour difference a week or 2 before . I’m scared I will be up at 2 in the morning since my up time is 8 …lol Dining will be crazy too.

On our Vancouver to Hawaii cruise it was changed during the sea days and it was every other day until the new time was reached. This ended up with our time changes being on our Embarkation night 1, night 3, and night 5.

Yeah, 1hr a day . . . typically. Baltic countries (Russia) had different time zones to/from, so that was interesting too.

On our upcoming trip FROM Hawaii back to Vcvr, we lose 3 hrs as we cruise East. Bonus is that we disembark on Sunday Mar 10th, which will be the beginning of Daylight Savings . . . so we lose another hour. Then we fly back to NJ the same day o_O !?

Note to self and wife: On our next ocean-crossing cruise, go WB and enjoy the extra cruise hours!

They will tell you to turn back time on certain days to catch up with the time zone. I will enjoy the extra cruise hours on this leg. Last year I did Honolulu to Vancouver and it was so annoying to move forward every other sea day.

Guess we are gaining hours but I see it doing a number on me since it will 6 hours total from home.

If you do it incrementally (like, one hour a night/every other night) it shouldn't be that bad. That's why DCL does it that way, so it's less noticeable than a 6 hour jump all at once.

Thats how I feel about gaining an hour. Losing 6 hours, even 1 hour ever other day, completely did a number on me (and what seemed like most of our ship, including the crew) during an EBTA however.

We will be on the Vancouver to Hawaii Oct3rd and we were wondering the same thing.

I’m going bring a normal watch to wear and be able to change the time too.

It was annoying last cruise when the Apple Watch wouldn’t change time an hour head. My phone never changed either I don’t think because we don’t have wifi or data on it when out of the country.

You can manually reset the time.

I will have to check that out thanks. Someone in the coffee shop tried changing my phone on the ship last year and we couldn’t.….lol

I like my Apple Watch to count my steps.
