I know, we can hardly wait to add-on. Imagine a Resort in Hawaii with all the perks that make DVC great: the proximity to the parks, the dining plan, the exclusive property, the Extra Magic Hours, the full transportation, the annual pass discount, the...err...ah...hmm......DVC in Hawaii...Sounds like a match made in Heaven...

While we're on the subject, what are the good timeshares in Hawaii to stay at, let's say on a rental basis, not necessarily to buy? Our first choice would be the big island, Kona side, but any input is welcome. On second thought, maybe I'm just going to buy Marriott's Ko Olina Beach Club instead.
Any further word on DVC in Hawaii??
Lets see... the airfares to the Islands are going UP with the demise of ATA and Aloha.... Economy is going soft. (Is Disney SURE this is the right time for this one?)
Do you mean that Disney might be abandoning its Hawaii and Eagle Pines Timeshare (near OKW?)to an outside company or just creating another corporate entitiy to keep it separate from the existing DVC resorts?
There's "no way", huh? I've got two words for you: Newport Beach....there is no way that Disney could do a similar deal in Hawaii...
