Hawaii Rehab at Polynesian

Does anyone know exactly what will be done to the Hawaii longhouse during its refurbishment? We will be there in Nov. and are really looking forward to our first stay in concierge.

Basically, the rooms will be gutted and redone with new everything. The furniture and look will be the same. According to Tikiman there may be some surprises / changes with the lounge though.

Actually, they are adding a fourth floor for Concierge.

The rooms will be half again as big.

A food prep area, with open flame grilling, will be built.

A special fireworks viewing lounge with stadium seating is planned.

It should be quite nice when completed.

Very funny Dr. Tomorrow! I really think the stadium seating will be quite a classy upgrade (LOL). Can't wait to try out those cold metal bleachers. I have to admit you did have me going with the 4th floor (if I hadn't worked in the construction business for many years I just might have believed they could add a floor in just 4 short months.).
