Having second thought about Boma

We had a number of meals scheduled for our last trip - Whispering Canyon Cafe, Ohanas, Boma, CRT, Chef Mickey's, etc., and Boma was the hands-down favorite of everyone in our family. The variety of food was exceptional and we all enjoyed the atmosphere and the service. The chefs behind the food tables were most eager to answer questions about the different dishes, and we tried some foods that were outside our comfort range and were very happy with the quality and taste of everything we tried. Bottom line is go with an adventurous spirit and a willingness to try something new. Of all the restaurants we tried onsite it is the only one we've all decided we're definitely returning to on our next trip to WDW.

I am one of the rare few that did not like Boma. Neither did my husband (who eats anything). My kids wouldn't go near most of the food they offered. It was mac n cheese and chicken strips for them, you can find that anywhere. We are not adventurous eaters and did not find much there we liked. I tried many of the things I heard raves about and didn't like a single one. :crazy2:

I did like dining in the AKL though, and I'm glad we did it at least once. It is a pretty cool resort. I guess that made it worth it.

We LOVE Boma!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is always the first ADR I make.....then Ohana, then Cape May.

I've eaten at Le Cellier, and have always had bad service, but good food.

All the picky eaters we have taken have managed to find something they liked.
the roast and ribs are terrific! And my gosh, I'd pay the 25 for the soups alone!!!! Try a little of all of them!

It is an experience you ought to try once. And be sure to go early or stay late and view the animals and shop in the gift shop. Don't rush through there!

One of my boys is a picky eater, he made a pig of himself at Boma. Along with the African dishes they have the old kid standbys. We were all happy.

Another Boma family here! Even my super picky DH enjoyed it and the atmosphere is so neat! My kids really loved it. It was our first night dinner and it's on our list for next time !
