OK, I am having the 'girls' lifted, my nose done, and a bit of lipo next Wednesday. :cool1:

I am nervous. I don't like pain (who does?) and am wondering if anyone who has had any of these things done could give me an ETA of healing and when I will stop feeling like poo-on-a-stick? Also, did you just sit in bed and watch TV, or did you feel good enough to read or anything?

PM me if you wish to keep it quiet.

Thanks!

6 days until my Extreme Makeover Out-of-My-Own-Pocket Edition!

No experience with this (except watching on TV) but just want to wish you well and a speedy recovery. :flower2: :flower1: :shamrock: :daisy: :rose:

I do not have any personal experience with this, but a coworker had the "girls" lifted and reduced. She was out of work for two weeks. She said that it was not too bad. The first two days she experience some pain and then the rest of the first week, it was just discomfort. The second week she said was to rest up since she was drained from the surgery. I am just too much of a chicken to do any cosmetic surgery. Good luck!

Good luck to you. I'm sure you'll do well and be glad you went through with it.

Haven't had the "girls" lifted - I really didn't have any "girls" before. I did have some "girls" added though and recovery was pretty rough for me. Lots of pain, but worth every second of it.

I had my nose done (I had a deviated septum and the slightest little bump so Ifigured while they were in there...- its funny people that knew me before couldn't even tell the difference- guess it was a waste)

Anyway, they were in there longer than expected so my mom thought I would have an awful recovery time. I was bad that first night until I got the packing taken out the next day. I wasn't too swollen in the face and I went to a concert at Madison Square Garden a week later. (against mom's orders of course) So as far as the nose goes, you should be good to go w/in a week, barring any issues.

GOOD LUCK!

Thanks! I have a smallish bump on my nose as well, but I have always hated it, so I am going to get rid of it while I am doing the chest/tiny bit of lipo.
I think I am most nervous about the pain afterwards, and just want it to all be over! PLUS I am stressed out about this (and other things) and I can't even have a nice drink or two this weekend (Doc's orders)!! :rotfl:

tell the new girls that pop daddy says hi :wave2:
