I'm so desperate to book our next trip to DLP, but as DH keeps reminding me we are supposed to be going to WDW next August so really should just save for that!

Problem is, I've been looking at prices and have found a great price for 4 nights at the SQL for February Half Term.. on the early booker 2n free offer.

DH keeps trying to disuade me, reminding me of how cold it might be and how there will probably be a lot of closures, but I just realllly want to go! I've even said I'll take DD on my own if he doesn't want to come!

I miss my happy place! :cloud9:

I've also had a good look at the Jan-March offers, they are very good for 2014 :).
Having said that, and having now done it three times (Feb half term 2007, mid-March 2011 and Feb half term this year), I've said after the last 2 times I'm not going at that time of year again. I'd rather do warmer (if rainy) later in the year, with later park closing and less ride closures. It does take away from the Magic for me - but I know it didn't for my girls ;).

I know exactly how you feel.
I was only back from WDW a few days and talking about booking for DLP.
I got a good deal for next march so very happy now.

We are exactly the same, when we returned from our November trip last year we both agreed we felt a bit Disney'd out, we agreed we wouldn't got back until at least late 2014........a few weeks ago I saw an advert on tv, it got me itching to go again and before you know it I was back on the boards and booking a trip for this November! Luckily the bug has well and Truely bitten Steve too so I didn't have to do any convincing! :thumbsup2

Lol it's good to know I'm not the only one, we only got back Sunday night and I'm looking at booking for August as we have 2 weeks holiday with nothing planned for the 2nd week, we're at butlins skegness the 1st week and its only 4 hours from the eurotunnel at folkestone so would be rude not to. Can't decide though between Santa Fe or Cheyenne. We have only done offsite or DLH, can't afford DLH this time but want onsite as in laws want to come too so would be best for them I think being dlrp virgins.

Know how you feel. We went to DLP for a week in March and we were already planning our next trip on the Eurostar home. We decided that we should book again for Halloween next year, but we are squeezing in another trip in January as the new offer is just too good to miss.

Sure it will be winter, cold, wet and probably be snowing but who cares about the weather when your at DLP.

The rooms in the Santa Fe are very nice since the refurbishment. I really liked the Cars theming. But have breakfast early before the restaurant gets very busy.

The rooms in the Cheyenne are looking a bit tired, but the hotel has a lovely theme and is actually DWs favourite hotel. We plan to stay there for Halloween.

Also know how you feel.
I get withdrawals when we don't have a trip booked so much so that I've nearly always booked the next trip before we go on the first. Its agony otherwise.
Delighted to read good things about the SF Cars refurb.. Only 138 sleeps til we're there :yay:

Looks like Santa Fe it is then. :) has anyone booked on disneylandparisdirect.com? It's coming up £100 cheaper than if I actually book directly with Disney. We are early breakfasters anyway so not too worried about that. Up with the larks when on holiday to get the most of the day.

Know just how you feel! We're not supposed to be going back to DLP for a while but I'm already thinking about next year! :rotfl2:

There really is only one cure for all of this...............book another trip ;)

I think we might be getting somewhere! :thumbsup2

The subject of DLP came up again last night when we were saying how I just don't think we will be able to save up enough to go to Florida in 2014 and might have to push it back to 2015.

DD said she couldn't wait that long without a Disney fix, DH said he didn't want me to take DD on her own, so I said that the only other option is for him to come with us! (He walked right into that one!)

Then he came out with something I wasn't expecting, he said "I'll think about it if you'll agree to us staying in the DLH". :woohoo:

I tried to act cool, but in my head I was doing this --> :dance3::cheer2::woohoo:

So, now I'm pricing up 5 nights in the DLH for the 3 of us for Feb Half Term! :goodvibes:thumbsup2

woohoo :cheer2: yo may be back sooner than you thought then :cheer2:
When i came home after our march trip i so wanted to go back so booked it just for me and dd offsite for july (will make a change to go in summer) but now with the winter offers i just so want to book another trip as dd wanted to go for her birthday in january :)
