Having kids??????????

I'm 14 and I dont plan on having kids for at least another 10 years but I know that I want kids.


Is there anyone else out there that already knows if they want or dont want kids???????????????

I definitely want kids, but I don't think I want to have them naturally.
I think I want to adopt, but I'm still not sure.
I'm only 15, so I've still got a while to think about what I want to do, though.

I want 6 kids. I've always loved being around kids and it's definitely something I want to do. I'll pray that I have good fertility.

This is an interesting topic for me, because I was talking about this with my sister yesterday. I'm 19, and i KNOW I don't want kids for at least 10 years.
The thing about me is, I really like kids....sometimes.
Sometimes I HATE them.
And I'm SO afraid that I'll win up hating my kid or not being able to handle it. I don't like the idea of having to give up my life for a kid...because I'm SELFISH that's why. I want to live life...I know the purpose of life is procreation, but honestly, I'm a selfish woman! I want to travel and LIVE.
Which is why I don't want kids for at least 10 years...hopefully by that time I'll have settled down, be less selfish and more ready to commit to taking care of this.....thing for the rest of my life. scared: God that does NOT sound appealing to me right now!)

I'm kinda like you Caitlin, but I find kids unappealing 97% of the time. There's so many things to factor in.
When it comes down to it..
I find them annoying. I would freak out at it eventually, and be called a bad mother. I don't take good care of myself, I have no plans on becoming anymore organized than I am.. .which is not very.
I don't like kids, and have no motherly instincts. I HATE holding babies.

so, I don't thikn I want any, but I may change my mind. It could be a change of mind because of aging, or because my husband feels the need to have a kid.

I think I read in another on of your posts that your almost 20, no offense, but I cant think of too many 20 year olds that feel like they could devote themselves to children right now.

I know that right now I'm not ready to have kids but I also have a feeling that in 10 or 15 years I will be ready

haha no, no i'm not offended don't worry!! it's true!! i'm totally irresponsible and selfish and not mature and this age. and at this point in my life, i can't imagine myself changing (though i'm sure i will once i get older)

I want kids really really bad. Like now. xD I mean, OF COURSE I wouldn't have one at 14, or anytime soon, but I wish I was an adult and married so I could lol. I love babies. I'm dying to have kids someday. But I think I would only want one or two. A girl and a boy would be nice.
