Carla : I own three cast iron skillets AND a cast iron dutch oven....I recommend the dutch oven if you don't have one. All pans were relatively inexpensive and are just fantastic. I wipe them with a little solid Crisco after each wash.....we use them that often. (the Crisco never has a chance to go rancid between uses)![]()

I have a large dutch oven, a griddle, 10 fry pans, 2 baking pans (corn bread & muffin) and I am not really sure what all else.
Crisco is just like vegitable oil, no flavor - good choice!
