Having a hard time- MK restaurants

We're veggies, and we'll want to have lunch either AT the MK, or at one of the MK resorts. We don't like buffets, but we do like air conditioning, especially in September . Any suggestions? We had a LTT ressie, but I'm having second thoughts.

Any favorites??

If youre all vegetarians and dont like buffets, the only options you have in the MK area are Kona cafe at the poly....and GF Cafe at the GF.

Liberty Tree for lunch is a good option thou. Did you see the menu's on this site or allears.net?

Inside MK the only other good option for vegetarians i think is crystal palace. but you said you dont like buffets, so that suggestion is scrapped.

Plaza Restaurant has vegetarian option. Also, Tony's is just Italian, so there are a couple options there.

I'm attempting Whispering Canyon, but I'm not sure what I'll end up eating there, since they don't list anything vegetarian on their menu at all.

The Wave must have a vegetarian option too. I prefer the Grand Floridian Café, though.

We have the Wave for a non-park day, so that was on our radar already. I think I'm going to do GF Cafe. I didn't even know that was there (shows how much I stay Delux.... hmm...)

So now I think here is what our Ressies are going to look like, if anyone is interested!!

Day 1- Dinner- Raglan Rd.
Day 2- Lunch- The Wave
Day 3- Lunch- GF Cafe
Day 4- Dinner- ESPN
Day 5- Lunch- Via Napoli
Day 6- Dinner- Jiko

I liked the vegetable sandwich at the Plaza. However, it is their only veg option (other than ice cream!), so everyone would eat the same thing.
The only other table service meal we did at MK was breakfast at CRT and I had fruits and pastries there.

Kona at the Poly is another option. I ordered one of their noodle dishes which they will prepare vegetarian on request. It is a quick monorail (or boat - my preference) ride from the MK.

fellow vege here..
Unfortunately we are very limited as WDW as most restaurants do offer a vege option, but that is all it is, an option! Even if you don't see anything on the menu outside a restaurant they normally will still do something for you. Quite frankly you have loads more choice is you go for a buffet. Also the menu's you see on website do tend to change so don't always take what you see as face value, it may have changed its vege option by the time you arrive. We have found the chef in the GF wonderful. We popped into the counter service restaurant there and there was nothing vege so they asked the chef to come and see us and he made us a special meal. So if you do go to a delux resort to eat it's always worth asking as they do tend to go the extra mile. We also had a very nice vege meal at Artist Point in the Wilderness Lodge. Basically if you are vege don't expect a wonderful selection to choose from at WDW.

If you are vege be careful at Raglan Road as their chips are cooked in animal fat!
