Having a hard time making reservations without hours...

Uggh...I just don't know what to do. I want to make dining reservations, but it's so hard without exact hours, including early morning hours. In addition, I am on the waiting list for a few nights, and this will change our plans.

I thought about waiting, but I want a few hard to get reservations, like the Chef's table at Victoria & Alberts and Be Our Guest.

I could look at historical hours, but I don't know about extra magic hours.

Does anyone have any ideas/suggestions?

Yep, we can all relate. I'll be able to make ADRs Monday morning. I have Touring Plans and have used that to try and figure out what parks we might go to on what days. I basically have 2 different plans worked out and I think one or the other should work once we know all the different variables. I'm going to try to get ADRs based on both plans. I don't like getting ADRs for two different scenarios, but I don't see how I can avoid it. (We aren't doing Dining Plan so it's not very many - bu still!) Once they announce hours, fireworks, and whether or not they'll offer EMM (which I hope happens really soon!) I'll drop the ones from the 2nd Plan right away so other families can grab them.

Are you wanting to go on EMH days? Or avoid them?

Just make them for the hours you want and can get. If the park hours change, they will most likely be extended so no big deal. I wouldn't plan on pre-park opening ADRs just to get in early, that is a good way to get upset when they change. Otherwise, make what you want, you can always change most of them.

I also use touring plans to estimate what hours the parks will be open and when EMH will be. It also helps to look at last year as well. Then, its take your best guess.
we never do a breakfast, so that makes things much easier as we don't have to guess about park opening time. By the time we can do FPs, the hours are posted.

When we booked our ADRs at 180+10 days last month, we were able to view the park hours on DISNEY website the following way...

https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/en_GB/plan/ (we are British, so USA address for MDE may be slightly different)
On any day click the EDIT PLANS
Click ADD PLANS then select ADD PARKS & PLACES
It then shows the park hours for all parks on that day

That worked for us. Without doing it this way we could only see 180 days, but this way we could see 180+10.

Hope that helps :)

It's so annoying to have to make ADR's when park hours haven't been announced. You really need to book early to get some of the harder ones. I hear people say to keep checking even up to the day but I want to know that I have what I want at the time I want. This is one of the reasons we get park hoppers

Well I can see to October 5th when I go on Park hours. One indicator I would look at is the week prior or the last week that is available to you. Generally you can get the idea of which parks have what EMH on what days and times, as this sort of repeats each week, unless it happens to be on some big time changeover time of year.

Yes this will work and show your 10 days before you make ADRs.

I can see out through October 15 on Disney’s website today. You should be able to see the hours for your trip before you make ADRs. Not a ton before, but enough that you can feel pretty confident when you make your reservations.

Just make what you want when you want it. Park hours are going to change anyway.

It didn't work...I don't see and "Add Plans" button, but I clicked around and can only get up to Oct. 5 right now.

I can only see through Oct. 5 on the website, going in through the website. Where are you looking?

Thank you...I can see hours and EMH's also. They may change, but it helps a lot!

I check in on Oct. 5 through Oct. 13. I can only make reservations up through Oct. 6. I thought it was 180+10...My hotel is linked through My Disney Experience, I can see it.
