Hi there friends!
Fred and I are at WDW for the weekend. We had a bit of a rough start saturday morning, but it all turned out great!!
I was standing in line to get a build a pin made. Another lady approached, and I guess, although I was right there, she did not realize I was in line waiting. When it was time, I politely told her I was in line waiting prior to her. She did not believe me, and her daughter/son proceeded to cuss me out.
It was not nice. I got my pin made, but was a bit upset, as I don't use that kind of language.
Anyway, I was talking to the cast member later, he honestly was so busy making pins and waiting on guests, that he did not notice if I was next or not. He then called the manager named Jeff over. He asked me to tell Jeff what happened. Jeff was very apologetic for the incident. He wanted me to get my magic back so he told me about the surprise pin for AP's that was released that AM. So we went and got the pin. Very nice surprise!
I went back a little while later, and wanted to see Jeff again to thank him and present him with a pin I designed to give CM's who give me a dose of "MAGIC". While I was waiting, a family came and started chatting. Their sons were just getting into pin trading and wanted to know how to get started. As I was talking to them, Jeff came up and we all started talking. I presented him with my pin. He seemed to really like it. He then asked me if I had the CTT pin for 2003. I said no, and he said, "you do now!" I think I "squealed" with with delight. It was a wonderful moment.
Yesterday we went to the MK and attened Scoop's seminar. It was pretty quiet and we missed the regulars not being there. So did Scoop. We played a pin game, and a nice boy showed us all his AP's he had. It was quite a collection I must say.
Well, today is our 19 year wedding anniversary, and we're spending it at our favorite park, EPCOT. Dinner tonight will be at our favorite restaurant, Cape May.
