Boden often offers free shipping and returns. I have some of their dresses. I like some (but not all) of the prints.

I never get Hannah the Gymboree shoes anymore because they always seem to rub on her huge size 13 feet.

Edited to add I am cracking up at the clown pics. My niece age 6 watched IT (Her crazy mother let her.) and she is terrified of clowns. No surprise there.

So what do you think he did?:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

OK....I need to stop this stuff or I will scare Praline away....wouldn't want that...it's OK Praline...they are just pictures. Not real. Come back!:rotfl: :rotfl:

::closing my eyes::::
Go to my happy place go to my happy place.....

Channing you are just sooooo HURTFUL :rolleyes1

OKAY my take on the show... they made some good points... many of these freegans were making lots and lots of money (DRs, engineers, investment brokers...)

It was more of a political statement than just being cheap.
The 30 billion dollars worth of groceries the companies toss out each year could feed an entire 3rd word country.... they are seeing themselves as martyrs for their cause... now dumpster diving is not for me :lmao:

But the whole point is companies are wasting way too much!
They should be donating the non expired items to charity groups... So what if the TP is a little smooshed... I bet homeless people won't care the TP is smooshed :rotfl:

I like the politics behind the stop being wasteful but me dumpster diving won't solve the problem...

*sniff* :flower3:

:rotfl: :rotfl: I am sorry!! I googled an image of NO CLOWN SIGN and these came up....I am a noob to being able to post pics so I went a little nuts.:rotfl2:

Don't worry. I won't post anymore of these badboys.:rotfl: It is so funny what images come up though! I had to hold myself back.:rotfl2: :rotfl2: I didn't mean to be hurtful. It's not like I attacked your clothing items or something:rolleyes: .:rotfl: :rotfl:

BF won't even eat bread more than 2 days old, though I think that is .

You mean a loaf of bread lasts 2 days in your house?!?!:worship: :worship: :worship:

In our house ... with 2 growing boys and a DH with a tape worm... not often does something go bad around here before its scarfed down :rotfl: :rotfl:

Remember MY family was the one that did the Deluxe dining plan AND STILL bought $400 in snacks and drinks in the park our 8 days there :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

It's on again here at 11 pm. Maybe I will watch it then. I know I heard several of their previous positions and they wren't janitors. They were high level high pay positions. I thought they just must be a little off.....;)

That is really pathetic if companies are wasting that much food and other items. Very sad.:sad2: Why would they do that? Why not give to a shelter etc. I know several places do that at the end of the night whatever isn't used, they send out to a shelter - I am talking restaurants, bakeries etc.. That is a shame that so much goes to trash when thre are people starving.:guilty:

The reason they gave was
1. possible lawsuits ...people are sue happy. So that smooshed TP gives the homeless man a rash... he will sue a million bucks for his rash....

2. It is just easier to toss it in the trash than take it to a shelter

Oh and where is the homeless guy living on the street gonna find himself a lawyer?:confused3 That is just wrong.:rotfl:

Well, I can understand them making a political statement, but where is it going? Is anybody getting the point? I hope so and then maybe they can go back to eating from a fridge.:rotfl2:

Well talk to ya later. I need to think about dinner here. Looks like Mexican tonight....there wasn't any Italian in the dumpster. :rotfl2:

hmmm AN ITALIAN in the dumpter would not be a bad thing.... thinking tall dark and RICH :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I just got a note in DD's backpack that they are celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday Monday, and we are supposed to send them to school dressed as a Dr. Seuss character. Any ideas from you girls? Anyone had to do this?

I have thought of either Cat in the Hat, but don't really want to make a hat or Thing 1 (red sweatsuit) some kind of blue hair!

Any ideas would be appreciated! I am room mom, so Hannah needs something cool! Gotta keep up my image. :rotfl: ;) :rotfl:

hmmmm never had to do that one. Savannah had to dress up like a dalmation on the 101 date of school :rotfl:

Ds13 had to dress up like a poem from "Where the side walk ends" and recite said poem....

school are good at stumping parents :rotfl:

Can you take some fabric and cut out a fish or two and do a simple sew job or even use the fabric bonding glue on a sweatshirt?

one fish two fish....

I am not very crafty so I cant come up with anything better.

okay my crafty side is coming out :rotfl:

Buy a mens large white (or solid yellow would be better) CHEAP t shirt at walmart... run to the laundry isle and pick up some yellow RIT dye if you couldn't get a yellow shirt...

Then go to the craft section and look for the puffy paint pen craft stuff...

Buy her a red stocking cap

When you get home ... take shears to the bottom of the shirt and cut the bottom of the shirt to make it look ragged... tie off each ragged piece in a knot ... if you really wanted to get craft you could buy super cheap little bells and hot glue them to each knot to make it jingle when she walks :rotfl:

On the back of the shirt (or front i guess would work) ... use the puffy pens to right in really big letters
I AM SAM

You could add some gold glitter glue to outline the lettering ... or just do glitter poka dots ... something to make it sparkle so she will be cool with sparkles :rotfl: little girls LOVE sparkles :rotfl:

Have her wear leggings under the new dress and top it off with a red hat

That is a good idea! My non-crafty friend bought shirts off the Internet just now and paid for overnight shipping. She asked me to make her 3 kids "headpieces". I :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: at her over the phone.

Here is my list of ideas:
Cat in the Hat - black pants, black tee, big red ribbon bowtie, MAKE hat from posterboard and felt. Don't really want to make the hat though.
Cindy Lou Who - pink dress, pokey ponytail on top of head w/ red bow
Thing 1 - red shirt, pants, white sign around neck saying "Thing 1". Blue feather or crepe paper "hair"
Star Bellied Sneetch - yellow shirt with blue felt star on belly, white felt cutout collar, yellow feather headband

I am thinking I am going to go with the Sneetch one because it is easy and unique and will not involve making a tall paper hat that some kid may very well step on and smash ...

Edited to add I Love the Sam I am IDEA!!! But am I going to be able to find a red stocking cap?!

This one did stump me for a minute, but I will figure it out tomorrow and I will be sure to post pictures!!!

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I just reread your post and now all I can see is DD walking around with I AM SAM on her shirt. Some Moms from DD's school and I have an IHOP date tomorrow, and now all I can think about is Sean Penn in that movie and the Rooty Tooty Fresh and Fruity.
Sorry. I think I am overtired and just find that amusing.

Cute idea Praline!!:goodvibes

My dds would want to be something cutesy like Sally from Cat in the Hat or Cindyloo Who....maybe a Sneech...aren't they the yellow guys with the big star on their stomachs?? Or a fox in sox. Something either really cute or really dorky.:rotfl:

Hey, if you guys watch WIFE SWAP...I didn't watch yet, but saw that there is a freaky family from Huntley IL (about 1/2 hr from me and Kristen) and these people are ....ghostbusters or something...they thing they all have paranormal abilities.:rotfl2: :rotfl2: OMG...how embarrassing...I just thought it was a stitch so I'd mention it here. Shh...it's our little secret. Don't want to spread it around that we have wacked out "neighbors".:rotfl: I hope they didn't embarrass themselves too badly tonight. I would NEVER want to do that show. But then again my family is not weird enough.:sad2:
