I agree Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow is hot! We saw the charachter ar MK on our last trip, and it was a reallly good look alike. BF was like "we don't have time to see charachters now." and yanking on my arm because I turned my head to get another look....

Hi, I just spent 15 minutes catching up! I was out shopping.

You guys go ahead and make all the fun of the godawful skirt that you want. I won't tell anybody. The thing was hideous. I just hope I get my refund!!!!! She had 100% pos feedback so I think I am good for it. I just can't believe she sent that junk out to me.

SO....the girls and I are planning on making funny Easter baskets for Vonnie and Joe. I went to.....KMart today! My least favorite place to go, but Monday I hit stupid super walmart, yesterday it was Target so Kmart today...I have been checking out all their Easter goodies. Today I picked up adorable Mickey & MInnie stuffed Easter baskets and some totally stupid stuff to put in them. We have some yummy good stuff, too, but VOnnie and Joe like & appreciate stupid, so they get some of that too.

Anyway, I was checking out and the lady asked me about making baskets....I told her "No, these are for friends. We don't do baskets. We make nests." and she looked at me crosseyed. Yes, we have this weird tradition - no clue where it came from other than my wacky family - but we take towels and blankets and make huge circles on the floor (like 3 ft diameter circles) and the kids fill them w/Easter grass and the bunny fills them. Then they run around the house like crazies and look for plastic filled eggs, too, and dump those in their nests. It is silly but they love it. They can't wait 'til Easter Eve when they can make their nests and sit in them and watch Easter shows.

Anybody else have weird Easter traditions or is it just us?

Praline, i just had a LE code but it just expired two nights ago. It was for free shipping. It came in handy for me since I ordered about 20 swimsuits to go thru and reordered so many times.

I always thought Jonny Depp was too feminine. Certainly not attractive to me as CJS....ick. I don't get that at all.

Channing- I can no longer take you to Ulta until you take back your ick comment about my secret lover Johnny Depp!! (J/K!! Seriously, let me know... DS has preschool until 1:30 that day so we could go get our make up done and have lunch!)

The Easter Nests is a cute idea but my dog would eat it all before anyone could get to it!!! DS has a huge basket from Pottery Barn Kids that we set out each year to be filled. The bunny also hides eggs filled with Matchbox cars so he leaves a special empty themed basket to run around the house and collect eggs in... I have it on very good authority he will be leaving a SpongeBob basket this year...

OK, off to take my dog to my parents and DS to my IL's... have a great night!!!

I guess it was a good thing, haha. I love the Gymbo Holland line & I got GREAT deals. I hope Jojo likes it, too. It has sparkles so I think she will be cool with it. Lucy would have liked their tennis line with the turtles!! She is a turtle fan/collector!!!

It depends... sometimes the wet dry brush or the contour brush and even sometimes I use the blending brush I'm not picky

As it is a base coat.... I just use whatever brush is closer to me at the time... I love the blending brush and always blend blend blend it in so that is why sometimes i just use it to apply it.

Like Kristin said... there is going to be 2 more lines coming out while you can be earning gymbucks....
I am going to hold off and see what those 2 new lines are going to look like as I am not thrilled with the tennis stuff.

When you get to redeem the gymbucks... go back to the sales racks or sale tab on the internet... and pick up some of the matching stuff from the lines you already bought.

EXP... I have 2 outfits from the Holland days line, and 3 or 4 from the spring rainbow line
the day the gymbucks can be used... those are the first lines I will look at to see what is left in Savannah's size... and I will pick up matching bottoms or tops super cheap and they can all mix and match.

The only exeption is shoes. I never wait on the matching shoes to go on sale... they always sell out FAST and rarely make it to the sale rack.
But see I have the little shoes from the spring rainbow line so when sale time comes I will try and pick up a couple of cute shorts and shirts and she will have 6 or 7 outfits that will match the same pair of shoes and bows

That is my usual stradegy when it comes to gymbo but I just havent found a line that I am thrilled with yet this spring.

I get the idea of not wasting and recycling but they were taking fish and milk and eggs out of the grocery trash... i mean HOW many germs could be in that meat?!?! There is no regrideration in the garbage can

its still commercial so hopefully they will go more into the food safety factor...

oh and they previewed the young couple who went trash hunting for stuff... DH and I did that with our first couch we saw it on the side of the road (we were very young and very broke) and were like wooohooooo we got ourself a new couch

Praline, that is what I do too with the Gymboree strategy. I love the M2M bows too. I usually get mine on ebay from a lady who does M2M Gymboree and Hanna Andersson ones. We love our Hannas too.

Channing, Skechers wouldn't take my card either!!! I tried again though, and ordered two pairs for myself and one pair of sandals for DD. I have never worn Skechers, but saw some I liked this time. And I can't beat the price!

I just got the new Mini Boden catalog and the new Olive Juice one. I am dangerous with those.

Wow....well I was on the DIS while it was on so I only listened with 1/2 and ear. but I turned to look and they wre showing ground beef they had picked out of the garbage. Sorry that just gags me. OK, I thought there was a little vomiting smilie....I need that guy.

Isn't it funny how there was that clown there the other day, just when we needed it? Now it's gone. That is so weird.

I get that miniboden too. How about the big boden?? It looks like pretty stuff. I ahve never ordered, though. I stick with my tried and true because I have bad luck and I'd pay to ship it and then have to send most back.

I love Gymbucks....I gave up on the shoes. Jojo wears a 3/4 now so that's that. They seemed to always either rub her wrong or fall apart. She will NOT wear fluffy hairbows anywhere but Disney. Bummer, huh?

I guess it's good skechers wouldn't take my cards. It's better if I take Jo over to buy the shoes in person. She has problem pigs.

Actually, I am thinking of someone that I know who behaves like that. Only they never clean out their refrigerator and just eat anything they find out of it! I won't TOUCH food from this person's house; I would rather starve when visiting . They don't think anything of it, though...

Yuck, I clean out the refrigerator every week so it dosen't get nasty. I don't want us to eat something bad by accident. BF won't even eat bread more than 2 days old, though I think that is . I always tell him I feel so stupid when I shop for bread. I have to stand there a feel up every loaf to make sure its soft enough for him. It makes me feel like some kind of perv

I do that too. I HATE buying new bread and get it home and it's stale....ick. I just freeze it though so it stays fresh. I'd spend a fortune if I had to go to the store every 2 days.....each time I step foot in Target I drop $100. Easy. Money flies outa my wallet in there.
