Morning Gals..... I am recovering from my first week...good thing we have a 3 day weekend!

Vanessa...have a good time at the wedding, thats funny about all the remarriages....all i seem to be doing lately is going to funerals..ugh..its that time in our lives.

Ugh, we have the funeral thing going on too. Three family members this year alone. I can't believe how many friends are gone too.

Thanks . Tell me about it.....he was fine ALL SUMMER....and then as soon as school starts, we get hit with it . But I guess things work out for the best because we were scheduled to leave for Disney 9/25-10/3 for free dining (2007 bounceback offer), but we decided to cancel that due to DS starting HS....we didn't want to pull him out of school for 6 days right at the beginning....so we changed it. Good thing because with him missing the last 3 days, it would be more than hectic for him to miss another 6 coming up in 4 weeks . Plus I started to think he'd never get better and miss more days.....but the nasal spray and eye drops have really helped . So he should be good as new come Tuesday....we just have to get his homework done this weekend . Good luck to you starting school Tuesday . Once Labor Day comes and goes, it seems like time just flies by because the holidays are just around the corner!!!

Glad to hear that he is doing better. DS's allergies were always worse during the school year. He had allergy issues with every school he was in. He has not had any asthma issues since he has been out of school.

Hey everyone...oh man I'm extremely tired today!
M&P...LOVE LOVE LOVE the new pictures. the castle in the background is just so beautiful at night! I can't wait to go!!!

Oh so this morning ds had his first class for learning how to skate for hockey. He did so well I was very impressed. By the end of the class he walked to the teacher unaided. He's never been on the ice before. So I signed him up for the next 8 weeks and am now on the hunt for a pair of ice skates for him...can I tell you all how very expensive the sport of hockey really is. Man...just for little boy skates you can spend up to $100...I'm ebaying ofcourse so I'm hoping for a deal

Yea to your DS on the skating. DS did hockey for only 2 years. He got out of it before we had to do the 5:00 AM practices. It is a very expensive sport. He would go through at least 2 pair of skates a season. Just hope he doesn't want to be a goalie. If you think skates are expensive, try buying the pads for a goalie. Do you have a local sporting goods store that sells hockey skates? Our local store, not a chain, would buy your old skates and sold used skates. You can save a lot that way and still have someone fit the skates properly. I don't know if the chain stores do this.

Hi, Annette!! Seems our little chat group just expanded again.

Wow!! It's quiet around here this morning!! I was busy with family last night and thought for sure I'd have a lot of reading to catch up on this morn.

I talked to Kelly last night....she is miserable but on her meds so hopefully they will kick in and she'll feel better soon. What a nightmare to be sick on vacation. Poor Kel.

Nothing new here. It's pretty out and we are going swimming! Probably one of our last days to use the pool as the kids are crazy busy during the week. We started turning the heater off on Sunday nights. DH is going boating with the guys....he is going to water ski. I'm glad it's a nice day for Labor Day fun.

I am quiet because hubby is home for the long weekend...hence no "me time." I get so used to him being gone 6 days a week, it is strange when he is home for days on end. I love him, but....

He is off right now searching for running shoes for Alex...poor Alex: 18 days hiking in New Mexico, home for 12 hours then off for 8 days at disney, come home, sleep in one day, then up for cross country practice, and the next day was the first race. No rest for teen athlete boy scouts. I keep telling him it builds character.

Sorry to hear Kelly is still not feeling well. Hope you are on the mend Kel. We miss you.

Kelly - glad to have you back, but so sorry you haven't been well...especially on your vacation! I hope you are feeling better very soon. The CMs in the lounge were very sweet to our family when our boys took it in turn to be sick on our first RPC stay. And guess which room we were in that time? Yes, 4401 with its beautiful view of the castle!

Was the Wishes music piped in every night or only sometimes? It was so great to be able to watch Wishes, then tuck the boys into bed. The only downside was that this was the infamous room that an IPO CM worked so hard to get us, but unfortunately we'd booked a deluxe and it didn't happen...well, you know the story...a comedy of errors, and not too likely to happen again.

I have just realized that it's only 2 months and 1 day until we leave for our son's Wish trip, with that fantastic 3 night GF stay! Here's hoping we get RPC for the first night so we won't have to move!

I won't have time to dream too much about WDW - gotta get the boys settled back to school and routine, finalize construction drawings with the architects for our major renovation (finally decided on elevator size yeaterday!), purge the house, pack up absolutely everything and then - the day before we leave - move into our temporary 5 month home, which thankfully is across the street from our house! I'm going to be SO happy to get on that plane!!!

haha you describe me and my wife perfectly. I work six days and we dont even get much time at night so when im off i somehow always seem to be in the way.

Couldnt clean any more...my eyes were getting blurry.. felt like i was moving stuff from one side of the garage to the other.


This is Snow White ride on monday the 25th. around 10:30.. it was the second day of sun and i couldnt believe how the crowds were since we were used to nothing while it rained.

Toy story is one of my faves

Here is the Kenned Space Center. the pilot pointed it out to us. I had never seen it before.

OK now my favorite pic. We were flying at one point through clouds. Not rising and just passing through but we were at a steady altitude and were inside the clouds.

Then after a while we moved a bit higher ( or i guess the clouds could have moved lower) and the sky was so red as the sun set. Really looked amazing and the clouds below us were pretty flat except for this section that just rose up..it looked like an explosion

Dawn- Your son started already? I am so nervous for mine, he went to the same school from K-8, so for 9 years he's only been in 1 school. He's looking forward to it, I am just nervous for him.

M&P - my DH would love those pictures, he loves that none of the three of us like the window seat. He loves it!!!
