Glad to hear that Cinderumbrella :) I thought I was missing something...Would hate to think that I should be packing a suitcase full cleaning supplies...I dont even do laundry on vacation...I figure if you run out of something -hey its vacation-just buy more:rotfl: but my clorox wipes do go everywhere I go...

A lot of it might just be people with young children who tend to put everything in their mouths or touch things and put their hands in their mouths etc. I am very fortunate that DS is not now nor has ever been one of those kids.

And kudos to you about the laundry on vacay!! I am with ya!!!!!!!! :thumbsup2

I bring a travel sized Clorox wipes with me, but I rarely need to use them. I think I might have wiped down the pack n play at POR with them (just to be safe). We never use the coffee pot or the glasses in the room so I don't think to clean them...

Ditto! I keep em in my purse and diaper, Luvs it!

I havent packed yet.

Kelly 14 days lucky you....How much do you pack for 2 whole weeks away...especially now that the airlines charge for 2nd bag overweight bag...soon for the seat cushions:rotfl2:
I saw that you are spending some of your trip at the CR, that must be a nice split CR and GF...My kids would love that...looks like alot of folks will be at the GF at the end of August....Popular time:cool1: Ive started packing thats about it!!

Note to self: Don't let DS help with laundry!

Yikes :scared1: I would have a breakdown if this happened right before a trip!
Did I forget to mention I nearly killed him and that I sat in the driveway at 10pm crying my eyes out?

Mandy! YAY!!!:thumbsup2

Wrinkle Releaser is my ziploc!!:rotfl: :rotfl: I couldn't live without that stuff. I dont know what I did before that stuff!!!! Wrinkle REleaser makes life easier.

Shel.....have you started packing??:rotfl:

:goodvibes I was thinking about making an ADR for the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue in Fort Wilderness. I saw it when I was a little girl and though it would be fun to experience it again with my children. I know DD would get a kick out of it, but not sure if DS is a good age for it at 2-years old?? I remember going to River Country on that trip too.....:goodvibes

One more completely unrelated question - how is the coffee in the lounge at the GF? :coffee: I am not a huge coffee drinker, but I do look forward to my cup in the morning and I like it VERY strong! Please tell me it isn't weak!

We did hoop dee doo and my 4 and 5 year old LOVED it, the 2 and 3 YO were not so into it but did well! They munched and the show did hold their attention somewhat. BTW my 2 year old was still one, it was still a few weeks before her b day! They have a park down from the dining hall and DH took her to it before we were seated and let her run out some energy! LOL :rotfl: BTW I believe you can request something that is not part of the meal if your kids dont eat bbq or fried chicken.

HEY HEY It's FRIDAY! :cheer2:

I had a dream we were at the gates of the Magic Kingdom and they said we could not come in because we have been to many times. I was like please at least let my children in! LOL :rotfl:

Nearly all packed and the builders have left:banana: Just got clear up the mess and sort out my handbag which is:scared1:

DS is away playing cricket so no laundry mishaps.

Only bad news today is that friends from home who have been in Orlando all summer are coming home early so can't join us on our wishes cruise, but never mind.

Is there scales in the bathroom at the GF? Only thinking about the bags on the return.

Kelly, I'm going to miss logging on and see your Good Morning message each day as it usually comes in when I am sorting out what we are have for dinner so makes me smile, it will be good to be on the same time zone.

Have Fun!!!! :flower3:

we leave in 11 days !

10 days!!!

I mean Im a little germaphobic I bring my lysol for a quick spray and I wipe tv remote and door knobs with a good old clorox wipe...wouldnt even think of touching the glasses!!!eeeewwww

We used the chlorox wipes and wiped the remote, the phone, every door handle and knob. (bathroom, main door, non-balcony door, closet doors and even handles of drawers)
In our defense we have tiny ones.

Kirsty

Do you know what I did?
I buy 40 pound bags of dog food. I started picking them up as I would a suitcase to get a feel for the 40 pounds. soudns crazy but I was able to aproximte the weight of the suitcases just from that and had no problem going or coming back home.

:upsidedow

Good Morning Everyone!!!

There are scales at the GF, when you leave by the luggage valet outside!! They weighted our luggage before it even left, so if we had to move things around we could!!!

Good morning.

No scales in the GF bathrooms. GF doesn't want you to know how much you gained during vacation! I think if I weighed myself before we left, the airline would have to charge me more!

Good Morning!

Thanks for the scoop on the Hoop-Dee-Doo Mandy!! I am giving it serious consideration, especially considering there is a park nearby! I always find that my little prince charming does much better when I let him run out some of his energy! I told DH that we have to make sure that DS doesn't snack at least an hour before we sit down to eat b/c he also does better when he is hungry! I'm wondering though if it is too late to get an ADR?? We are a party of 9....

Good Morning Everyone!

Another busy weekend coming up around here! All starting with a trip to ur beloved US Cellular Field to watch our Sox play "those other Sox" tonight!! :rotfl:

Anyway, I have to get my house cleaned and do some stuff so I am not sure I will be around much so I hope everyone has a great weekend!!

Kristin

Have Fun!!!! :flower3:

Hello! I see you are a Basin lover! I have not been to the GF in three years, and I can't wait to see that store! I love anything "home and garden" related! What do they carry? Also looking forward to browsing in and hopefully purchasing things from Summer Lace! :goodvibes
