Hi, guys! I am sitting at MCO waiting to board...which will be soon..so i am making this quick!

Just watned to say HI! And you all know we had a great time. I am happy to be going home though. It's time.:) It's rainy and foggy here tday, too, so it makes coming home easier...although I ahven't watched any news or much tv so not sure how IL weather is, either!

I found the cutest flip flops in the GF ladies shop....Lacey whatever it's called...

They are Douglas Paquette - in prints like Vera B!! OMG..THOSE were my souvies...lOl..I bought 4 prs of them. I wore one pair to MK and Epcot yesterday and they were like Teva Mush as far as comfort but CUTER!

We stayed til midnight at mk last night and closed the place. we arrivedd back at the GF after 1 am and it felt like it was OURS...there wasn't a soul around. :goodvibes I LOVE that place! I am now envious of you guys going soon! And the holiday trips!! I think this is most likely IT for our WDW trips this year. DH has no more vacation days and the kids are burned out. Pretty sad when I am the one excited about going and nonbody else is. Jo said 3 days is all she cn take!

Well...talk to ya all alter and i will post pics tomorrow or the next day. It was an awesome trip..but long! I think when we go again we will max out at 8 nts.

Chan

Welcome home Chan!!! We missed you!!

For those of you who spend a long time at Disney (say 7 nights or longer) do you go to the parks every day? What do you do while not at the parks? We are going for 10 nights in January and I'm trying to work out a general game plan for all of us. So what activities do you do or places do you go while at Disney? Should we do a park each day and sometimes go in the morning and sometimes in the afternoon/evening? Any ideas for a longer vacation?

The hardest part you are going to have with a long trip is that you are going off season. The parks are going to close MUCH EARLIER than this past one. It could make the trip seem longer than it is...

Our past trip was only 7 days, but we usually go 9-10. We go to the parks EVERY day, but not from sun up to sun down. If we get up early and go and plan on a late night, there is always a pool break etc. midday. We prefer to be out late, so we rarely get up early. We also like to spend part of a day at DTD, we like to rent a boat for part of a day, we resort hop etc.

Order has been restored to the universe. The red sox are back in 1st place.:yay:

:lmao: :lmao: :thumbsup2

And I believe you have Minnesota to thank for that!!!:rotfl:

Keep on losing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :goodvibes

:surfweb: Good Morning!!!
:goodvibes Welcome Home Channing, can't wait to hear about your trip, especially your dining!! We leave in 10 days:banana:

Had a busy weekend, We took my son Connor to his first BB game at Wrigley Saturday. Even though I am not a die hard Cubs fan like my hubby, it is one of the neatest places. And I have to say Chicagoans ROCK!! We were amongst season ticket holders and when they found out it was my sons first trip to Wrigley, they were high fiving him and making him feel really cool. He told me his dream came true. That makes your heart melt!!! I have to say the have very good margaritas also, which made my day more fun:cool1:

I am still trying to learn how to post a picture, does anyone know how I can use pictures from my snapfish account, and what the process is??

Have a great day!!! Evie

You should try going to THE OTHER BASEBALL TEAM'S stadium. It makes Wrigley seem like the hole in the wall that it is. WE have restaurants, stores, a centerfield area you can walk in ;) and most importantly- PARKING!!!! Also, there are NO SITTING BEHIND A POLE seats in OUR park. (Can you tell I really, really, REALLY don't like THAT team or their poor excuse for a ballpark :lmao: At least Fenway and Yankee Stadium have some character for historic parks :rolleyes1 )

I am going to attempt to bathing suit shop today  I bought a few new ones last season that weathered well so I didn't bother earlier in the year. Well all my tops are halter style and I am getting some wicked tan lines that don't go well with all those strapless smock tops/dresses I am wearing lately. I need to find a better top that won't leave lines...

Have a great day everyone!
Kristin

You know what though, I am fine with it. Our boys ALWAYS play better with a little chip on their shoulder. Let them fly under the radar for a bit. When we make the World Series and the "loveable losers" don't- it will be that much sweeter!!!!! "The bigger the build up, the bigger the fall...." ;) Need I say Bartman??

um....you guys are boring me with your baseball talk.:guilty:

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Are you allowed to do that?:rotfl2: Bore me, I mean.:confused3

I am supposed to be doing laundry.:laundy: How can I be pulled away from that with the DIS if you guys continue to chat about baseball.:rolleyes1

Chan...chit chat chattering chan - that hates baseball:snooty:

just kidding. seriously. kidding. really popcorn:: popcorn::

Thanks for the suggestions guys! It would be nice to plan a relaxing day, maybe do some shopping at DTD and have dinner out with all of us.

It sounds like a good idea to hit the parks first thing in the AM and then go back for naps and pool time and then head back to close it down (if they close around 7pm) that would be perfect!

Thanks for the suggestions.... keep em coming!!!! :)

how is your husband doing? I though you said he had a brain tumor? Was the disney trip good for him?? Was it relaxing or go go go? So..now you guys are addicted to Disney it seems.:)

Does your husband still fly for AA? I saw you were asking about SWA fare release dates? We love SWA. The transportation board will have info re their next fare release dates. SWA might even have it posted on their homepage...if you subscribe to their click and save emails you will be alerted to any new dates.

Did you ever post Grand Suite pics? I am curious to see them. Can you link me? I hope to stay in that suite next year and would love pics so I can get super excited.:goodvibes :goodvibes

Well...I always gag on that last day when the bill is hanging on our door:eek: ...having to LEAVE and then also the COST.:rotfl: :rotfl: All there on paper in black and white for us to stare at and shake our heads at.:rotfl: :rotfl: I think I might pass out if I see the Grand suite cost all there in one place and then all our extras:headache: ...so that is holding me back from pulling the trigger & booking it. Any ideas how I can make extra money lol...legally?:rotfl: or if not just PM me.:rotfl: Jojo is really cute...can I farm her out to model? :rotfl: Lucy wants me to call the 800 number we keep hearing on the radio and get her started.:rotfl: :rotfl:

Chan:)

Chan:)

DH is doing well! He goes for another MRI in a few weeks so we'll see where he's at. We had a great trip obviously b/c I convinced him to book again! :) He is a pilot for American but is on leave b/c of his tumor. We can fly on AA but it is standby. We'd much rather buy tix on SWA b/c the airport they fly out of (Islip) is 5 min from our house and we don't want to fly standby with 7 of us.... it is too stressful when you are going on vacation.

I haven't posted the Grand Suite pix yet. But I will today, I promise! I have to get all my pix together. The room was sooooooo incredibly awesome! We watched the fireworks from our balcony every single night (except for the night we took the fireworks cruise). The boys loved it. We had 5 balconies and views of EVERYTHING! The Castle, Space Mountain, Poly, CR, the pool, etc etc. The master bathroom was OMG amazing. DH and all three boys took a jacuzzi bubble bath with PLENTY of room to spare. Probably 8 adults could have fit in that tub!

When we decided to book again, I was disappointed b/c we kinda went straight to the top by booking the GS at the GF. What else could we do?? And there will be 7 of us this time and only 4 people (well 4 and a crib) can fit in the GS. So I was all sad for about 10 seconds but my superfantastic TA found us the Royal Asante Suite at AKL. :dance3: I am bummed that we won't be 2 minutes from the MK on the monorail but you can't have everything. I am looking forward to trying a new resort!

I do have a secret for you but I will have to PM you..... doing that right now.... :rolleyes1

Man you guys!!! I was going to take a nap but I am a sucker for peer pressure.... I'll go get those Grand Suite pix right now.... well after I PM Channing....
