Having a GRAND time - the NEW Official GF Chat Thread PART 4

Evening all! My night of vegging infront of "The Bachelor" has been nixed....DH just found out about an hour ago he has to fly to Kansas City tomorrow...limo pick up at 5 am. SO we have been scrambling to pull it together with flight, rental car, hotel etc...

Then he gets home and has to be in Chicago over the weekend....

I am DVRing the catfight on the Bachelor....I have to watch it in peace later.

I am going to get the coffee set up tonight....yes Deb..it's my own psychological baggage that keeps me from adding cold water to the coffeemaker... I am going to try it tonight though....

Any opinions on how much coffee to add per cup?? Since yall are PROS and I am so not. I will gladly take suggestions! PLEASE...the booklet said suggested 1Tbs coffee per cup....that seems like a lot....

Anyway...hope yall are having a nice night...and more peaceful than mine.

OH! PS>...DAWN...I am sure you kicked butt!!! (kick kick kick) I can't imagine those peeps not likin' ya. Are they LosAHS or what?? I hope not..let's hope they are cool and saw that you BROUGHT IT! Work those two diff socks....I am sure you did!

Anty kept waking up last night so I hope he will sleep for awhile this a.m. and Shawn is getting ready for school.

I am an early bird today...

Put in a load of laundry...did some house work....but I bet Kellys probably been out to store already!!!

Channing did you get your DH up and out this morning...talk about having to get everything together on short notice... I would have needed a nice big cup of coffee for that...

Have a question about lunch ADRs...I'm done with dinner...and yes onto lunches now... thinking of on one of the days visiting WL...(I enjoy resort hopping!!visiting their shops etc...) ...stroll around...have lunch at WCC...I think Mare said she was doing this not sure...has anyone eaten lunch there...

BTW Mare Where have you been.... hope all is well....

Well I think I'll go check out the dining boards...make myself hungry at this early hour!!

Mare - Thank you for reminding me about the recipe. I saw it this weekend, but did not print it out - you know I love new recipes!

Dawn - I'm sure you did fine on your interview. I think they try to intimidate you sometimes so you are confused when you leave.

Last night DH was talking about Disney. I asked was he ready to go back and he said, sure I'll go anytime. I started talking about May and he told me to check into it. This morning I asked him again, and he said "what haven't we done already-we were just there in December". I told him I'd get some prices and we would go from there. Channing I had talked him into a YC/GF stay - hopefully he will go for it, if not, we are still looking at November.

Mare didnt remind you about the recipe I did but its ok... I do know how you love the new recipes...and you always make them first!! I'm usually about a week behind in trying them...

That is the same split stay that I would like to try...I would start at the YC and end at the GF...seems like it would really be the best of both worlds...

Congrats in talking your DH into booking another stay!!!

I havent gone out today but I will be. Since Chris is home I may step out to get a few things at the store and go to the post office. I am not sure.

As for this morning I am on my second load of laundry and orgazined all my work to get done. I have the lap top set up and ready to go since Chris is in the office right now.

I'm so sorry, that's what I get for being on the computer at work (shhhh) and trying to do things too fast. I printed out the recipe, it sounds very good and easy - I like that. I just emailed TA, we'll see what she says about the price. I don't know if DH was serious or not, he knows he can't joke about Disney with me.

As for WCC for lunch, we have never had lunch there, we always visit for dinner. We have stayed at the Wilderness and lunch seems popular but quiet.

morning....whew it was a rough night. Happy MARDI GRAS!!!:cool1:

I am sitting here totally enjoying my 2nd cup of coffee!!! THANKS for the tip on the fridge water and doing it the night before, Maxie! I still do wonder though...how much is the right amt of coffee to use....

OH yeah...Dh is out. But it was rough...not the packing..men are so easy....and it is only for two nights...but just organizing it with the diff parts of the trip. The worst was I got up at 2:43 am for a bathroom run (Of course yesterday was the day I try and sub more WATER for Diet Coke )...4 am for DH's alarm to catch the flight...then 545 for Lucy....6 am for Z...and then now 745 for Jojo.. I feel like I didn't sleep. I didn't get up at 4 am though. I am not THAT good a wife. The alarm just bothered me.

Lisa...AWESOME!!! I hope you can do May!!! May is perfect. And yes...the YC/GF split is sooo nice. You avoid a lot of dinking around with the transportation and being able to walk b/f to Epcot and DHS is sooo nice if you stay til closing...no horrid lines for the monorail or bus. The YC is very nice. And the new rooms look sooo pretty....I saw a pic of them a while ago somewhere.

I am waiting for Jojo to eat bfast...then I am off to get ready to meet Kristin for bfast....and then we are going to hunt down some paczkis.

Which reminds me...PrincessPaczki..I did see the Bachelor...I DVRed it and good thing because without the commercials it was about 60 min vs 120. It was a pretty good season this time around.

OK..sorry for the novel....I have to get on Jojo's case now...and start rushing her. she is wearing a bunch of cute beads my nice Disser sent.

I didn't watch the Bachelor last night, but I did tease my parents about the results! My Dad, Mr. Straighlaced, likes to read and not watch TV is HOOKED on this show!!! He started watching during the season that Brad didn't pick anyone That was the only episode he saw and he was MAD!! It was hilarious to see my dad get angry about TV (especially when he didn't watch the rest of the season ) and he has been watching the show (and the Bachelorette) ever since. Since I read the link and know how it allegedly ends, I keep teasing him about it!! It is driving him CRAZY trying to figure it out, but I won't tell nor have I given him the link!

Biggest Loser Fans- remember tonight is just part 1 (no elimination) The elimination should be tomorrow since tonight is only a 1 hour episode due to the President's speech...

I need to brush my teeth and head out in a minute.
