I can't wait for this week to be over!!! Today DS missed his bus... it is the pm kindergarten bus and it came about 5 min early!! This had to be the one day he was running a couple of min behind Thankfully DD isn't as sick today, no fever just a cough, so I could drop everything and drive him to school. TGIF!!

Tonight we are suppose to get 2-5inches of snow

All this talk about SW... I wish they flew out of Dayton!

Afternoon all!

Whoo hoo for Friday!

DH is going out with a few guys tonight to de stress and the kids and I are having pizza adn watching HSM3! I cant wait! I am such a geek but who cares! I am like Tracy on Hairspray..... i like to dance even though i am curvy!

Anyways, i got outta my gym membership! Taking the kids up there worked!

Now i am joining WW, I need someone to hold me accountable at the scales...... i am not gonna do it so i need to know some one will be so i will not screw around and each junk all day!!

Ahhhh! Gotta go pick up DS!

Yes, and if it were up to me it would be one of those banned words. We got s**w last, just a dusting, but we are supposed to get more on Sunday. It looks like those Chicago peeps are sending theirs our way.

Kristin, WTG on the SW credit and the gymbo code. I love SW, they have awesome customer service.

Deb, SW's boarding wasn't as bad as it sounded. All the A's lined up then the B's, and then C's. It was all very orderly, at least any flight I have been on. I guess I like it a little better now, but it wasn't bad before.

Annette, Glad everything went well for your DS.

Chan, Still no coffee pot. That just isn't something you can forget to buy.
Sorry Z is still having problems. Calling the DR. definately was the right thing to do. I am sure this is very hard on you too, especially not knowing what is wrong.

OK back from picking up DS. I was running a little bit late but there was a line still out the gates so PHEWWWW! I was worried he would be sitting in the car pickup benches with all the teachers looking at their watches ready to start their weekend!

I am back at the computer even though on the way to his school I said I would get home and fold a few loads........

Any ER fans? I was so glad to see Carter back! BUT sad now....... I thought he was dead when he was sitting in the chair at the end, that was a long time to not blink and his stare looked so blank! Ugh.... they are making it good! I cant wait to see some of the original faces in the next few weeks!

OK gotta run again.....the kids are getting cookies out of the pantry!

Hey all!! I feel much better.

OK....we have the BEST doctor. A very young guy...makes me feel so old. Anyway....it was a long appt...but he talked to Z alone and then me...and it's ok. He gave Z some advice...and some names of peeps - psychiatrist that he knows personally (which is good as we like HIM so much) and some other names.....so it will be alright. Teens are AWFUL. AWFUL...I am cringing knowing Lucy is 12.5.....I thought girls would be the tough ones....but I have been through the ringer with Z.

Christine...sounds like TGIF. That bus thing happens here too!!! And sorry your DD is sTILL SICK!!! I hope she's almost better...and you stay healthy.

OMG>...I am a dork with the coffee pot...but my cart was full of so much other stuff....and I just FORGOT to go to that section. I used my old one...and the coffee was like sludge...it is hard water build up...but it worked....I just have to take a couple zantacs...

Oh...and I came home to a message about the school's fun fair being canceled for tomorrow....due to the SN*W!!! How much are we going to get?!?!!?!!? I am not happy!!!!!!!! They must be predicting something nasty.

Mandy...that is a riot about the gym!! WTG!! Good thinking! WW rocks! You will do great on that....just have to get in the motivation mode.

So...anybody watch Survivor last night?? I don't do hospital shows at all.....BUT I am really loving Survivor (and that Coach...what a flirt!)....I am glad I didn't miss it this time around.

Channing So glad that things went well for Z and you at the doctor ...You are cracking me up with the coffee pot and the zantacs!! We bought a new coffee maker a few months ago a cuisinart (think DH was trying to tell me something about my coffee making abilities!! it does make good coffee)...but I still prefer to run out for that good old cup of DD....

Annette So happy things went well for your DS yesterday...wishing him a speedy recovery...

Maxie Thank you for the updated count down...28 days and sn*w is still on its way... somebody need to let mother nature know!!!

Mandy I aways have laundry that need to be folded(its much more fun being here.. )..I think I might feel the same about laundry as I do about winter....

Mandy, I love ER. I usually fall asleep in the middle of it though. Friday is my early day, I have to get up at 5 so I try to get to bed a little earlier, then I fall asleep during a commercial. I was good to see Carter, looks like he may be around for another show at least. They did a good job of working Mark Green in by using flashbacks.

Chan, Glad you had a good visit with the DR. Everything will work out. We are here for you if you need to vent. The DR. that did my DH's surgery looked young enough to be my son: Talk about feeling old.

Afternoon Gals


Had some sad news today......the Assistant Principal at the middle school passed away this morning . I subbed yesterday and there was an ambulance at school in the afternoon......the counselor said she got sick. I guess she had a brain anuerism (I know I spelled that wrong)......the principal went around today to each class individually and told the students......it's so sad .


Chan.......I heard the snow was supposed to come during the night tonight with 3-8" expected throughout varying areas .....but I went to lunch with my cousin today and she said she heard 6-10" tonight and then MORE tomorrow night . So I don't really know how much we're supposed to get......all I know is I'm tired of this weather .

I'm glad to hear things are going well with Zack and the doctor was able to help . And don't worry about Lucy.....you will make it through her teen years as well Jojo's .


Mandy.....WTG on getting out of the gym membership . Good luck with the WW program .



Maxie......Keep that spring countdown going . It doesn't sound like winter is going to be over any time soon so I need all the help I can get looking forward to spring .


BlueSkies.....I sure hope the weather reports are wrong because I don't think I can take another 10" of snow . But I will be sure to send all of it your way .

Well after being in bed for 3 days I am finally getting a little better....I have no clue what I have but I am on 2 strong antibiotics and wonderful cough medicine for at night! I still cant read through the thread so let me know if I have missed anything...I just didnt want you to think I fell off the face of the Earth...Happy weekend!

EEEeeek! That much!! Well.....the funfair being called off...and now all extracurricular bussed activites are. BUT...I got a call that the girls have a dentist appointment at 9 am! DARN!!!!!!! I wanted to SLEEP IN!!!!

DEb...that is tragic. So sad. Yeah...Blue Deb is right....you never know. I hope the students are OK....that was very sensitive of the principal to tell them that way.....still so horrible.

Siobhan...I was thinking about you today. I hope you have been able to get lots of rest and let those meds do their job. I started to feel like I was getting JOjo's bug and I took more Zycam and that stuff is miracle drug....it really REALLY works. Have a nice peaceful restful weekend. GET BETTER!! WE MISS YOU!!!

Hey Chan .......The boys said there were counselors at both the high school and middle school when the kids were told. I am subbing Tuesday and Wednesday next week.....it will be weird her not being there. I hope the kids are taking it ok......I'm sure there were some kids that were close to her. And you and BlueDeb are right.....you just never know what can happen or when .

DS was looking up the weather online and he said it's supposed to start snowing around 1:00 a.m. and go until 7:00 a.m. SUNDAY MORNING . Now whether or not that will happen, I don't know....but that will sure be a doozy of a storm if it does . I'm with ya on the sleeping in thing tomorrow but if it makes ya feel any better, I can't sleep in either . DS has to be at drivers ed at 10:00 and we usually leave here just after 9:30.......so no being lazy for me tomorrow morning either . Two weeks of drivers ed down and only three more to go . But then that means he's that much closer to getting his license .
